I love this app!

I have looked everywhere for an app that tracks my habits and is completely free. Finally, I found this app and couldn’t believe that it didn’t cost anything. I am so grateful for this app.

This one works for me

I am working on recovery and also struggling with ADHD. During this time I
have tried so many habit building apps. They became the enemy. This app is so easy and easy to control. I find it rewarding and non-threatening. It has become my friend.

Perfect 👌

It’s actually free, a rarity for these apps. The interface seems smooth so far. I got this app after reading a book called Tiny Habits, and this app seems to be in line with the Tiny Habits method. I recommend that book and this app to everyone!

Simple 🤷🏼‍♀️

Very simple and free. Many of these apps for habits are forcing you to do a monthly subscription and I think that’s just a waste of money. Definitely worth it.

Love it but...

This app has been a lifesaver the past few months and I love it but lately I’ve had an issue with it. Despite how many times I mark off a daily habit, it still acts like I haven’t and notifies me every hour like I set it to go off if I haven’t done my stuff. I need a fix for this because I’m getting annoyed with it going off every hour. 👏🏽
Other than that the app is absolutely perfect

Exceptional yet Simple Interface

It’s rare that you find such a well designed and functional app that doesn’t nickel and dime you for every habit. The devs did such a great job with the interface. It’s easy and intuitive. The top two apps in this genre are bloated and overkill. Their features make it hard to track habits, and their in-app purchase requirements don’t seem worth the value. However, I’d be happy to donate something for the use of this app. Though I hope the devs don’t monetize the number of habits, I would definitely pay something to support the work. Awesome app!

Problems with app

Can you make habits be sorted by time instead? Some of my earliest occurring habits are way down at the bottom and it makes me forget to check them off. Also, you lose your streak when attempting to break bad habits that occur more than once a day and some habits check themselves off, even when you didn’t complete it. It also doesn’t sync well at all! Please fix this. It makes this app impractical for use.

Jackpot!!!

I love this app. It’s simple and it offers a feature rarely found on other productivity apps, interval scheduling. So I can schedule strength training every 2 days for example. No subscription fees thank goodness.

I’ve filtered through like 20 apps just to find one with interval scheduling. The only other app I’ve found with interval scheduling is Habitify but I don’t want to pay a subscription for a productivity app. I’d rather just pay 1 small fee just like in the good old days. This app is free. Thank you 🙏🏼 so much for creating this app.

A very good habit tracker

I like the flexibility that Habit Buddy offers: you can track things to do, things to avoid doing, daily scheduling, weekly scheduling, number of times/hours/ounces, etc. per period. And the setup for each of those is dead simple.

What I wish were better:
- other apps have a social aspect where you can share your goals with other people
- I wish reporting were better. You get last 7 days, last 6 months and a list of occurrences. I wish there were a calendar view to see day by day. I’d especially like to have an online account that syncs to a web interface where I could see my results on a website or sync it to another device

All in all, the simplicity and flexibility of the app outweigh those features I feel are missing, but it would be a no doubt 5 star rating with a couple of additions.

Simply the Best

I haven’t tried a million tracking apps. This one is simply the best. So many options to customize it to your needs.

Seems very good

Seems like a very good app the problem I am having is that the notifications are not producing sound only quick pop ups I checked my settings and I have the app fully enabled if there is a fix please let me know because this could easily be a 5 star app.

Simple & Functional

This app is my favorite of the habit trackers for a few reasons:

I can track more than just a few habits.

Its quick to retroactively check off habits if I forget to enter them for a few days. I’m not tied to opening up the app every day.

Chained notifications look useful, but I haven’t played with them yet.

I’m ambivalent towards the chat-bot style habit creation, but it’s quick and easy. I see why some would prefer it.

What I’ve Been Looking For

Love this app!! I appreciate its simplicity. It’s extremely user friendly and I’m so glad there isn’t a limit (or the limit is much greater than similar apps) and really like the easy goal setup. I do agree with another reviewer that it would be nice to shrink the size of the interface in order to see more of your goals without scrolling. I can’t think of anything else I’d like to see different.

Best habit app out there

I fell in love with this app a few weeks ago when it was the only one of around 12 different habit apps I’d tried which didn’t charge a premium subscription to track more than a few habits. The interface is easy to work with and I love the progress graphs. The only problem is that last night I opened the app to log a habit and all but four of my habits had disappeared? I had iCloud backup enabled by I’m not sure how to restore from a backup. I’m deeply upset at the spontaneous loss of so much data. Anybody have any advice?

Good App

Great App, simple easy to use format, most habit tracker apps are way too cumbersome. What would be a great addition to this app is a note field in the habit set up, this way you can add some detail to the habit you’re trying to create.

The Best!!!

This app is way better than any other habit tracker I’ve tried. First of all, it’s easy to use and it doesn’t have a limit on how many habits you can track. Or if it does I haven’t reached it. I definitely recommend this app.

Perfect app for habit tracking!!

This is my first review because I have never found an app so useful enough to have the motivation to write one. This app is the PERFECT habit tracking app. It’s simple to use and easily customizable to your needs. There is NO membership crap or free version restrictions. I have honestly become so much more productive because of this app!!

Many thanks!

It's comprehensive and I really appreciate that it doesn't limit you to three habits unless you make a purchase. It's structured and very well thought out and definitely the best habit app I'm using.

Exactly what I was looking for

I have tried nearly every habit tracker out there and this one comes as close to being the perfect app! For some apps, rep-based habits were a nightmare to track (e.g., if you want to track push-ups, for example, and set a goal of 100 repetitions, I would suffer from carpel tunnel syndrome from spamming the "+" arrow 100 times to completion).

This app is perfect… Except for one oversight: the inability to sort your habits.

Maybe I have overlooked this feature, but it appears that habits are listed in alphabetical order…would rather sort them myself in the order in which they are to be completed. Moreover, they've included 'chained habits' notifications that alert you of one habit based on the completion of another, so the ability to sort out habits in a sequential order would be godsend. :)

Food for thought.

Nearly perfect

I have contacted the developer a few times (he's very nice btw!) and we talked about issues with the app, now it's nearly perfect but I dont really like the size of the habits page : it would be more comfortable to be able to see all habits at once without having to scroll up and down to see them!
