What's New in HailMate
2.0.6
August 3, 2026
Features and Bug Fixes NEW - Rapid Capture: the camera stays open. Walk the vehicle and shoot every panel in one continuous session instead of reopening the camera per photo. - Photos keep uploading in the background and survive a dropped signal, so a capture session finishes even on bad reception. - AI Intake Check: at the end of a capture session HailMate reviews the photo set, flags missing angles or an unreadable VIN, and proposes what to add. You approve or dismiss — nothing is changed for you. - One quoting flow: the separate estimate wizards are folded into New Quote / Estimate, with the damage diagram built in. - Add Photos / Videos is now a way to start a job, not a field buried in a form. - Pull an existing customer or business from your directory at intake instead of retyping their details. - Price as you walk when intaking a multi-vehicle group. - Pin claims to the top of any list. - Choose which columns appear on the Claims table, and follow a claim along a single continuous stage ladder. - Help & Tutorials in the app: searchable articles that open the feature they describe. IMPROVED - Cleaner navigation drawer — collapsible sections and a clear "you are here" highlight. - iPad and tablet layouts now reflow properly instead of cramming the desktop grid. - Oversized dents carry their surcharge through to the quoted price. FIXED - VIN scan button was visible but wouldn't respond to a tap. - Customer picker wouldn't scroll on iPhone and iPad. - Photo uploads could fail silently. - Camera viewfinder appeared as a blank white screen. - Reopening a won claim, accounts-receivable filtering, and bay-fee charges all behave correctly again.
