This app liter takes forever to re route and it’s very annoying while you rolling in a semi.

Good Truck GPS, but Exit Instructions Need Improvement
I use Hammer for truck navigation, and overall it’s a useful app. However, the exit numbers and turn instructions at the top of the screen are too small and difficult to read while driving.
For truck drivers, the exit number, highway name, and next turn need to be large and easy to see at a quick glance.
Please add an option for a larger instruction box with bigger exit numbers and text, similar to a Garmin truck GPS. This would make Hammer much safer and easier to use.

I did love this app in the beginning but lately there have been too many issues. It tells me to turn into dividers, gets confused which road I’m on or what direction I’m going, changes my truck settings on its own, and now changes from imperial to metric on its own.

Good app for the price, and I’m glad I purchased the one-year subscription. I do, however, have a few suggestions that I hope the developers will consider. These improvements would make an already useful app even better, especially for professional drivers who rely on their phones for navigation.
1. Font size needs to be larger.
There are currently two font-size options—Default and Larger—but even the Larger setting is still too small. Please consider adding additional font-size options or allowing users to increase the font size beyond the current maximum. We’re using our phones for navigation; we shouldn’t have to squint to read the screen while driving. Larger, more readable text would be a significant safety and usability improvement.
2. The weather feature is fantastic!
Thank you for including it. This is a really valuable addition, especially for truck drivers who need to anticipate changing weather conditions along their routes. I really appreciate this feature.
3. Please give us an option to hide all stops and map markers.
When I zoom out on the map, I don’t necessarily want to see every gas station, truck stop, and rest area along my route. Sometimes I simply want a clean map showing where I am, where I’m going, and my route.
Having dozens—or even 100+—bubbles covering the map becomes distracting and makes it harder to see the actual route. If I need a fuel station, truck stop, or rest area, I can search for one when I need it. An option such as “Hide All Stops” or “Clean Map View” would be extremely helpful.
Overall, this is still a very good app, especially for the price, and I’m happy that I purchased the annual subscription. Hammer may not have all the bells and whistles that Trucker Path offers, but at $50 for a one-year membership, I think it provides good value for the money.
I’ll definitely continue recommending it. With a few improvements—particularly larger font options and a cleaner, less cluttered map view—I think this app could become even better for professional drivers. Thank you to the developers for continuing to improve it!
Update 9/1/26 — Thank you very much for taking the time to respond and for your assistance. I probably should have clarified that HUD is already disabled, yet I’m still seeing all of the bubble icons on my screen.
I think it would have been much easier to explain exactly what I’m seeing if I could share a screenshot, but unfortunately, it appears that images can’t be uploaded here.
I really appreciate your help and willingness to assist. Please don’t hesitate to provide an email address where I can submit screenshots or other documentation if that would make it easier to troubleshoot this issue or if I need assistance in the future. I’d be more than happy to provide whatever information is needed.
