BEWARE
The name “HandBrake – Video Compressor” makes it sound like the well-known free, open-source HandBrake software. It is NOT the same product. The real HandBrake is completely free and does not charge subscriptions. This app charges $4.99 per week for something people reasonably assume is free.
Using the HandBrake name creates a false sense of legitimacy. There is no clear distinction that this is an unrelated third-party app trying to capitalize on the reputation of an established free tool.
If you’re looking for the real HandBrake, go to handbrake.fr on desktop. This app is not it.
