HangGrid: Gallery Wall Planner

Plan a gallery wall and calculate where every hook or nail should go—before you drill. HangGrid turns your wall, frame, and mounting-hardware measurements into a clear scaled layout and hanging-point plan. Arrange frames automatically or fine-tune them by hand, check the entered geometry, and review every coordinate before making a hole. BUILD A MEASURED PROJECT • Work in inches or centimeters. • Enter wall width and height from a consistent lower-left reference point. • Add named frames with their outer dimensions. • Model a center reference, single hook, double hooks, or loaded hanging wire. • Enter hook drop and center-to-center spacing from the real frame hardware. ARRANGE THE WALL Choose grid, horizontal, vertical, or staircase layouts. Set spacing and minimum wall margin, then center and arrange frames on a scaled preview. Undo recent layout-affecting edits. Touch and hold a frame to fine-tune its position; hanging points update from the adjusted layout. CHECK THE ENTERED GEOMETRY HangGrid flags invalid dimensions, missing placements, wall-boundary issues, overlaps, tight spacing, and margins using only the values entered. It calculates hanging points from the wall’s lower-left corner and organizes them into an installation order and checklist. SAVE AND SHARE Keep multiple local projects, duplicate a plan, and share a plain-text installation plan through Apple’s share sheet. Projects stay on the device unless you explicitly share them. PRIVATE, OFFLINE, AND PAID ONCE No account, developer server, cloud sync, photos, camera, AR, ads, analytics, tracking, in-app purchase, or subscription. MEASURE AND VERIFY BEFORE INSTALLING Every result depends entirely on the wall, frame, spacing, and mount measurements you enter. Re-measure the real wall, hardware, and every calculated mark before making holes. HangGrid does not detect studs, electrical wires, pipes, wall material, hidden hazards, suitable anchors, hardware condition, load capacity, or safe ladder and tool setup. A clear geometry result or completed checklist is not approval that an installation is accurate, level, structurally suitable, or safe. Follow hardware and tool manufacturer instructions.
