About

Warm Rituals is a Chinese wellness and qigong companion for calmer daily routines. Explore Baduanjin, breathing, gentle movement, bedtime rituals, warm breakfasts, and all 24 solar terms—with clear cultural context and practical safety guidance. Begin with a warm-water pause, a short movement break, an after-meal walk, or a softer evening ritual. Each practice includes its Chinese name, cultural context, realistic instructions, timing, and clear safety guidance. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Follow a simple morning, midday, and evening rhythm • Learn the background behind each practice • Build guided paths gradually, without pressure • Save favorite rituals and record completed practices • Review your month in a visual calendar • Set optional reminders that stay on your device • Practice along with a guided timer that paces each step, with a breathing rhythm for breath practices • Browse all 24 solar terms with English names, Chinese characters, pinyin, and seasonal context • See each solar term's real transition time, computed for the current year and shown in your own time zone • Open the named source behind every evidence note, including the reviews that say the evidence is weak WELLBEING WITHOUT MIRACLE CLAIMS Warm Rituals separates cultural tradition from modern evidence. It avoids detox promises, forced streaks, and one-size-fits-all health claims. Every evidence note names its source — WHO, NHS, Cochrane, UNESCO and peer-reviewed reviews — and says where that source judges the evidence to be weak, rather than quoting only the encouraging half. The app provides general wellbeing education and does not diagnose, prevent, or treat medical conditions. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your preferences, check-ins, ritual history, reminders, and progress remain in local app storage. Warm Rituals currently uses no advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. You can see this for yourself: Profile > Stored on this device shows the complete record the app keeps about the Full Library offer, and lets you clear it. WARM RITUALS FULL LIBRARY One purchase adds: • The Baduanjin course: all eight movements, illustrated, each with steps, a breathing cue, what to watch for, and a gentler adaptation — plus a played-through sequence you can follow start to finish • All 24 solar terms in full: customs and everyday life, regional and safety context, and the practice each term suggests with the reason it fits • Two long programs: a 10-day desk reset and a 14-day evening program, every day carrying its own instruction rather than a repeated practice • Two long-form guides: qi and breath, and the seasonal table — written to separate what the tradition says from what the evidence supports The free library stays complete on its own: every daily practice, three starter programs, the calendar, reminders, and the guides you unlock by practicing. There is no subscription or recurring charge, and you can restore access on devices using the Apple Account that made the purchase. What's New in Warm Rituals

1.1

September 1, 2026

Warm Rituals 1.1 makes every practice something you do rather than something you read, and makes the Full Library worth what it costs. GUIDED PRACTICE, FREE FOR EVERYONE Every practice now has a paced session: a timer that walks you through each step, with pause and step controls, and the screen stays awake while you practice. The breathing practice follows a 4-6 rhythm ring you can breathe along with. REAL SOLAR TERM TIMES Each of the 24 solar terms now shows its true transition moment, computed for the current year and displayed in your own time zone, instead of one fixed approximate date. SOURCES YOU CAN CHECK Every evidence note now names the source behind it — WHO, NHS, Cochrane, UNESCO and peer-reviewed reviews — and you can open it. Each source comes with a summary of what it actually supports, including what it says is uncertain. Where a review concludes the evidence is weak, this app says so. MORE IN THE FULL LIBRARY • The Baduanjin course plays through all eight movements in sequence, so you can follow along without touching the screen • Desk-Day Reset grew from 5 days to 10, Softer Evenings from 7 to 14, and every day now carries its own instruction instead of repeating a practice • Two new long-form guides: qi and breath, and the seasonal table • Every solar term now suggests a practice for that stretch of the year, and says why it fits MORE ON TODAY, FOR FREE Practices you unlock by showing up now appear in your daily rhythm. Two new free starter programs join A Gentle Start, so personalization always has somewhere to send you. PRIVACY YOU CAN INSPECT Profile > Stored on this device shows the complete record this app keeps about the Full Library offer, and lets you clear it. FIXES • Today now rolls over at midnight instead of staying on yesterday • Turning reminders off also cancels any snoozed reminder • An evening reminder no longer completes a morning step • Purchased content stays unlocked when you open the app without a connection • Closing preferences without saving no longer changes them
