Won’t honor the free version hosting!
With the free version it says you get 10’hours of hosting… which I need to see if this will work for our group.
I tried it for the first time and it said I had already reached my 10 hours and I needed to upgrade to a paid account. 🤬

APP IS A BROKEN MESS AND THE CEO BANS ALL NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
Hangout is run by a CEO who is nothing more than a tech bro trying to pump and dump investors for money and killing a once beloved platform. I absolutely loved hang out. Used it all the time found friends found community on it and then the CEO (Joseph Perla) decided he wanted to power trip and ban a whole bunch of people who had any descent in the matter including a mod. He’s obsessed with putting AI in so he can get more money from investors to eventually leave this place high and dry. He doesn’t care about art he doesn’t care about community do not give him any money.
As for the app, the app itself is broken. You can’t find half of the songs you wanna play and now you have to pay for randos to listen to your music. This app is a mess use literally anything else even all the problems aside- ironically we got banned for trying to get these problems addressed

Moderator moved me out of q
Waited in line to play a song when I finally was second in line I got skipped. The moderator? I’m guessing he was the moderator? Moderator Jose move me out of q and put him and his friend ahead of me. Instant uninstall.

No volume controls
It’s hard to voice chat with friends and use this app because the music is way too loud and there’s no volume control. Disappointing because the website has it.

Hello! This is an iOS limitation where there’s only one master volume. But you can give the voice a boost if you tap the room name there’s a slider for voice chat volume.
