There’s nothing special here. You can’t find anyone near you, there’s no real way to connect with the profiles you can see and on the miracle you get a match, they’re either the typical fake profile or just ghost you because none of these apps have the balls to ban people that do it.

Chat doesn’t work - no support
The chat keeps loading and doesn’t work, I asked support with no help what so ever

Chat no longer loads. Reinstalled multiple times. Kinda useless when you can’t communicate with anyone. Thanks.
Can’t even see the chat section anymore
For over a week the chat section has been stuck on a loading like screen so I can’t even look at new or old chats at all and my app is up to date and it doesn’t matter where I am I have tried while on WiFi and nothing changes

Can’t Even Open Messages
Paid for the month to give it a try. Can’t even open messages for the last four days. The senior is almost no users on this app either. Feels like a complete scam.

No real profiles on here, shame because it was a cool concept. Bots constantly trying to get you to download WhatsApp or signal. Be aware.

Great App Before, But Something Has Changed

I’m a paying customer, and this review comes from someone who genuinely wants Happn to improve.
Last year, the app worked great. The crossing and location features were accurate, and I had a much better experience. I haven’t changed my phone, my habits, or the areas where I use the app, but the difference today is significant.
I spend about 10 hours a day in downtown Vancouver near some of the busiest landmarks in the city. With the current FIFA events and the amount of foot traffic every day, I would expect to see far more crossings and profiles than I do now. Instead, the app barely shows any activity.
I’ve also come across duplicate profiles, suspicious accounts, and people asking for money. I reported these concerns but never received a meaningful response.
This isn’t really about the subscription fee—it’s about trust. I know Happn can be a great app because I’ve experienced it before. I still have the app installed and would genuinely like to keep using it, but I’m seriously considering canceling my subscription if nothing changes.
I hope someone from Happn reads this review, looks into my account, and reaches out. I’d much rather stay as a customer than leave disappointed.

Bizarre and unsafe
Felt a little unsafe as a woman and then was weirdly and falsely accused of redirecting traffic to other websites so deleted the whole thing.
I paid but can not see the menu.
keep loading and can not see menu properly.. Wanna refund!!

Hello, If your Map is empty, it's probably because you've already interacted with all the profiles you've crossed paths with. To solve this issue, you can change your search criteria, such as age, and also go to new places to see new users.
Directionless app
I used to login with Facebook and they removed that option. No notice, no warning, no migration plan. Just removed and left the user's stranded with no way to login to their account. Also, no way to contact them either. No option given to reach their support for login issues. I'll fire their Product Manager for this stupid design. For now, uninstalling it. Not worth my time anymore for a directionless app. Not that it was great when it worked

Nearly scammed
Had one person try to scam me on this site. Video call and then use it for extortion even made me use WhatsApp. This needs to stop and have raised to the police.
Update ruined the app
The last few update with new features it ruined the app, now it just shows random profile from different countries, no option to adjust the distance, so many fake profile. I wil soon delete it if it doesn’t improve. Thx

Do not recommend this app run by AI and bots. I used this app for at least 2 years and was randomly blocked today. I hadn’t updated my pictures in several months. I did not use AI to create pictures of myself. When using the app I deleted messages from people I wasn’t interested in. I didn’t do anything wrong. Don’t see the point in using this app anyway if I’m going to have issues like this moving forward
