Kana was the app my Japanese professor recommended to learn how to memorize hiragana. I use it like I do Duolingo as a supplement to my studies. It helps a lot with learning how to properly do the strokes as well as hearing the syllables. However, Dakudon and Katakana seem to be locked behind a paywall therefore I only give 4 stars. I am not advanced enough to take the in-app tests but I will do my best!!

Shows wrong kana and words
The UI is acceptable, but in tests it often shows the wrong word or hiragana. This is very misleading and confusing to new learners.
