This game is terrible
You get punished for literally everything you do. Wrapping up a conversation, you lose reputation. Can’t find a toilet in 10 seconds, you lose reputation. Random people will fight you for no reason and when you defend yourself, you get arrested. The fighting is terrible in this game, your stats don’t matter because the AI will always just cheese their way out of things. The ads aren’t even the worst part of this game, Don’t waste your time.

Almost perfect but…
I just want to state that I hope MDickie reads this and takes it as constructive criticism and NOT personally because he has a history of being overly sensitive especially when you consider the types of games he makes (which is ironic) but that’s neither here nor there.
This game came so close to being the perfect prison sim/MDickie game but it falls short for multiple reasons that are quite hard to ignore. My number 1 issue is that I purchased the subscription thinking I unlocked perks like editor mode but whenever I max out my character’s stats it had ZERO affect on gameplay, and unlike Wrestling Empire the combat is even worse because my character’s has a 1 in 50 chance of countering an attack. Regardless of my maxed out stats. Whereas in wrestling empire you can get consistent counters.
Second major complaint is the excessive dialog. This game is borderline unplayable even with dialog settings turn to minimum. So many annoying pop ups it’s ridiculous.
Third major complaint is arrest frequency, I get arrested ever 2 minutes over anything including defending myself?? But the other inmates are simply free to do.what they please.
I also think an inmate “combat difficulty” setting needs to be implemented asa. Some characters are just ridiculous to fight and I have no clue why. I had 1 inmate counter every single attack or grab I attempted. Extremely annoying.
Overall MDickie is a legend but I find it increasingly difficult to find any enjoyment playing this game in the current state that it’s in.

Ad glitch
Everytime the dream league soccer ad comes on if i try to skip or let it play it always freezes and ruins the progress of what ive played, also too many ads, not fun.

The worst game I’ve played
makes no sense
how when i hit someone im wanted for assault but when someone hits me its fine? why when i blow someones arm off they revive but when i get knocked out i immediately die?? make it make sense man this is aggravating and confusing. nothing adds up

Fun but has its issues
My biggest complaint is the camera it’s very annoying also the constant dialogue that messes you up and the prisoners that team up with the cops and attack you when wanted it makes no sense. I also hate the mental state mechanic and having to use the bathroom I’ve always hated both. Despite the issues however mdickie is a legend and to this day I still play, these games were a big part of my childhood.

Hard Time Review III
I’ve been a fan of Mat Dickie games since I was a young lad. And I’ve been always amazed by his creations and I’ll never get bored of them. I don’t get why there are many negative reviews on this new version of the game, it’s really fun and it’s good to pass the time honestly. 5/5 review very good game.

Add routines like the old versions/the school games. Like being called in for lunch or recess. Or else you’ll be in trouble
No controller compatibility
If you see online that it has controller compatibility if you have the premium version that is a lie. The game feels unplayable at times because of bad camera angles and and movement feels awkward
