Not Independent
While I enjoy picking up on the local news, the paper in general is never unbiased in its reporting - if there is a liberal slant, or anti-conservative slant, or an anti-Trump narrative, the Courant will search long and hard to not just find it, but will make it the feature of the report. The Hartford Courant lost its “independent reporting” decades ago…. It’s clear to see what side of its bread gets the butter.

All the News That Fits Our Print!
Not sure why I continue to hope for more balanced, objective news reporting. So, I read the more likely data driven articles like business, sports, and the human interest stories, but pick out the likely objective pieces in US and international news.
Great app & newspaper
For me the app works great and lets me read my favorite source of local Connecticut and national news with honest reporting.
Horrible App
Horrible experience. Non stop adds even though I turned them off in the app. Terrible set up for a news site. Emails too for that matter. Really disappointed.
