All the News That Fits Our Print!
Not sure why I continue to hope for more balanced, objective news reporting. So, I read the more likely data driven articles like business, sports, and the human interest stories, but pick out the likely objective pieces in US and international news.
Great app & newspaper
For me the app works great and lets me read my favorite source of local Connecticut and national news with honest reporting.
Horrible App
Horrible experience. Non stop adds even though I turned them off in the app. Terrible set up for a news site. Emails too for that matter. Really disappointed.

Games
You've got a problem with an popup at startup. "Want to play games?" Is offered with no option but to "continue". Either add an x out or loose the offer. Or fix your security ifbit's a hack.
Absolutely awful experience
I downloaded this app 13 hours ago. I have received over 45 push notifications. 45. That’s a push notifications every 15-20 minutes. If someone texted me like that I would block them. Mind you, all I have turned on for notifications is News, Breaking News, and Business. And I turned off Business about 3 hours ago. At least 8 of these 45 notifications have been sports related, and you’ll note that sports is not one of the notifs I have on - I checked at least 3 times throughout the day to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake or that they hadn’t been turned on. Sports was never on. What an absolute nightmare. Immediate delete. There’s other sources.

New app not tested -go figure
I was forced to down load the new version of the Hartford Courant App this morning and won’t let you scroll the paper just scroll each story. Does anyone test this stuff granted, I have an unusual phone…IPhone
Why all the updates
Can’t you get it right the first time?
fails at the basic element of reading the newspaper.
I want this app to read the daily newspaper. After all, it presumes to be a newspaper app. I want to browse every article (and comic) that the editor has selected to publish in a given edition. The app fails at that basic, fundamental task. Previous versions would allow you to move between each individual article in the daily edition. This version fails at the basic element of reading the newspaper. It has gotten worse at this basic task through each of the last several revisions.

App update circle of death
They make you update the app and it just goes into the circle of death - on every device. They have no customer experience skills whatsoever.
Why can’t we print the sudoku puzzles anymore!!!!
As a digital and print subscriber I was able to print the sudoku puzzles on the day I did not receive the printed paper. Since the upgrade a week or so go I can no longer print the puzzle. Really disappointed
Subscription issues
I have had a lot of trouble accessing the online version of the paper. In spite of having a subscription I am often refused access. It’s frustrating !
Latest version
I don’t know what you have done with the last update but it is terrible! The “view all pages” option is gone. The paper doesn’t fit my iPad screen anymore. Please fix!
Waste of money
Breaking news section hasn’t worked for months. Paying for home subscription, but no paper. Customer service is located in Asia and they just lie and say the paper will come but it never does.

Tabs don’t work
The breaking news tabs does not load. Has not worked for over a years and still has not been fixed with updates.
Poor billing system
Talk about a shell game, try and figure out this billing system. They keep adding the cost of “special issues” which reduces your paid to date. Paper has gone down hill and most articles are just wire services reports. No objective reporting as they told us the border was secure and Biden had no cognitive decline the last 4 years. Going to cancel this paper once paid to date is reached. Based on the significant drop in readers over the last 10 years we are not the only ones.
