I just signed up a month ago paying for the year and today I received an email that they are going into bankruptcy and won’t guarantee refunds.

I was sold a premium subscription just over 2 weeks ago, when the writing was clearly on the wall. The app is good but don’t sign up now, even if they let you!

Awful awful company. No option in the app to cancel only delete the account…but you will still be charged. Have emailed 8 times. No one cares. They are awful!!! Do not join. You can’t cancel

I cancelled my subscription before the end of the 7 day free trial. My credit card was charged and despite my request for refund they have refused. Buyer beware!!!!

Deceptive billing, broken trial system, and counter-intuitive logic
Do not sign up for the free trial unless you are prepared to fight for your money. Their promotional videos claim a "no questions asked" full refund if you don't like the product, but it is a total lie.
I canceled my trial on June 14th—before it was set to expire—but they charged my card $99 a full day early anyway. When I reached out to support with screenshot evidence of my timely cancellation, their rep (Piotr) completely refused to acknowledge the proof and just passed the buck to Apple. Their system clearly doesn't account for different time zones, and to make matters worse, they give you absolutely zero notification or warning that your trial is about to end and convert to a massive annual fee.
As for the app itself, I am completely unsatisfied. The way they calculate their "satiety coefficients" is totally counter-intuitive and confusing. It is not something me personally would be able to—or want to—get used to.
Hava will not honor their refund guarantee, and canceling without getting charged is seemingly impossible due to their predatory billing timing. Save your $99 and stay away.

Most Accurate & Fastest Food Tracking App I Have Used
This is the most accurate and fastest food tracking app I have used. It is very easy to use, looks great and I love the satiety score. It really helps you to see how small changes in your food choices can make a big difference and it does help to make you feel full and for longer. Fantastic app.
Impossible to cancel
The instructions to cancel don’t actually match the app. Messaged support twice and no reply. Be warned
Mediocre app, great marketing, deceptive terms
I was curious about this app because it promised to provide insight into food in a way that my regular macro tracking apps do not. I signed up for the free trial and was notified in that process that I would receive an email prior to the trial ending and giving me the option to opt out. I tried the app and found that the information I was looking for was not easily obtained from the app and therefore I chose to end my free trial. However, I never got the promised. Email notifying me of the end of my trial, and there was no easy or obvious way to end that trial. So a day before the trial’s end I sent an email to support asking them for guidance on how to end it so I would not be Charged. I never received a response to that email. Next thing I know I was charged $99 for the year. I wrote to support and this time they responded in a timely manner, but informed me that I had no option for a refund. It’s an attractive app and moderately useful, but I rated it on one star because I find their support and terms to be unclear at best and disappointingly deceptive.

Hard to change password
I did the 7 day free subscription, then went to log in and it didn’t accept password.
I had made password elsewhere and copied and pasted. Did a reset of password, but email to re do password never arrived. I tried it several times.
I now wish to unsubscribe totally, if you can’t get this correct then I don’t want the subscription.

Don’t try free trial
I signed up for the free 7 day trial, decided this wasn’t for me so cancelled it so was very surprised to find £74.99 taken from my bank account. I sent an email to the company but the only response I have received so far is an email asking for a review of their service when they haven’t even responded to my email! To say I am disgusted is an massive understatement. If you’re thinking of the ‘free’ trial, forget it! It seems I made a very costly mistake 😡

Tried to charge even though I’d cancelled after three days.
I decided to try the Hava app because it advertised a free trial period with the option to cancel and pay nothing if it wasn’t suitable. While the app made a lot of promises, I found that it didn’t really meet my needs, so I cancelled after three days. The cancellation was confirmed and acknowledged through my Apple subscriptions. However, despite this, the company still attempted to charge me for a full year’s subscription at the end of the trial period, which was both unexpected and disappointing

No Apple Health integration!
It’s 2026, how can a health or fat loss app not have Apple health integration? This essentially makes it useless. Such a baseline feature to have.
Great app but needs some tweaking
I have had the app for a few days now and I have previously used BitePal for ai meal tracking etc . I think this is a really intelligent app, but it needs some modification ie, when the scan gets information incorrect (perhaps it identifies something as beef instead of fish) you need to have an option on the iOS app where you can modify what it sees and also be able to change the nutritional information including calories fats carbs and protein when it gets it wrong . Also be able to easily modify the quality by choice of grams or cup measurement when I haven’t eaten a full serve of a scanned barcode or meal picture . I am finding the ai assistant often gives me instructions that are just plain incorrect on how to make these modifications. The app has promise and it gives a really great perspective on nutrition, so I would love to see these fixed !
