3x Step counting bug

There’s a recent bug where it is counting the steps that are automatically added from Apple health 3 times. It shows the same entry 3 times in a row and obviously this messes up the entire daily equation.

Pushing AI has ruined a once-great app

I've been a devout user of this app for years, having several stretches of premium subscriptions. It used to be a really decent tracker with great features a broad selection of barcodes linked. Now, after the AI 'rebrand', the app is unfortunately barely useable. Will not be spending another penny on this

Incorrectly tracks calories and hangs all the time

The app is extremely frustrating to use. I tried Premium and was plagued with incorrect tracking data:
1. The app duplicates the entries from my Apple Watch for the calories burned which causes incorrect tracking. I have to keep restarting the app hoping that on some try, it’ll update properly.
2. The other times, it doesn’t track anything and shows the calories burned as 0. Again, I have to keep restarting.
3. Another issue that keeps coming up is that it hangs and even restarting doesn’t fix it. So I have to just not use it for some time and then hope it fixes itself.

There are good features of the app as well but what’s the point of it if the app is so unusable.

Subscription for everything

Used to be a genuinely good app. I used for an extremely long time and really like the UI and how simple the app was. But now everything revolves around their subscription which is not worth it in my opinion. To set a custom calorie intake you need a subscription now which is something that used to be free. Every time I come back to this app, more and more features that used to be free now require their subscription

Kinda glitchy

I dislike how the app transfers data from apple health. The health app will tell you that you have burned 100 calories and for some reason you open the lifesum app and it says 400 calories. Scroll down and you see that it counts the active energy and steps you took FOUR TIMES. That is incredibly misleading and can lead you to eat more calories then you think you should have.

What also grinds my gears is the fact that everytime i open the app it pops up with a question if i wanna pay for an upgrade.
