There is less information than on the news. The outage numbers are not accurate and there is no ETA on when power will be up. Going into hour 13.
And, HECO said they knew power would go down at 2. It went out at 6. They didn’t post anything!! We could have at least made dinner earlier if they would just post information!

Keeps Crashing, Worst App on my Phone!
Everytime I log in, it brings me back to the login screen. Then after many attempts, I can finally view my electric bill. But also, it is suuuuper slow and lagging almost always. The worst!!! DO BETTER HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC!!!

It’s a shame they would make an app for it to not serve its purpose. I got the app to pay my bill from the app and it doesn’t allow you to. I guess the only other options of payment is online with a third party but for a commercial business they charge a $45 processing fee but If you’re residential it’s $3?? Make it make sense! It’s the same electric we’re using. So now I have to go and pay in person bc it seems like that’s the only option to save me from paying that scam of $45. Wish I could give no stars. What a waste of time and money! Get it together HECO, it’s about to be 2025. Get with the times😤

App was helpful during power outage
The app was great to have when we lost our power. The website didn’t load the outage map but the app kept us informed on when to expect a return of our power.
Virtually useless.
The app is poorly designed with minimal functionality. The “Report an outage” icon only brings up an option to call. There is no in-app functionality to report outages. It’s like we’re living 20 years behind the times.
Outage Map FAIL
Most of the time the outage doesn’t match the online version. They are trying to hide the number of outages they actually have.
Website transporter?
Your company is at least a listed company. Why not spend some money to find a more professional company to make a decent program? This program feels like it just directly transports you to a webpage.

App never works
This has got to be the Worst App of all time. Logging in is never possible, and why doesn’t Hawaiian Electric improve on its errors? The purpose for this app is to assist their paying customers to access their account which the developers have made impossible. Fix it or don’t offer it.
