On supported iPhones, Hay handles transcription, mood, tags and summaries on-device. If on-device enrichment is unavailable, you can choose a private transcript-only service. Audio, video, photos and location are never sent to it. Optional iCloud Backup can keep an encrypted copy of your journal in your private iCloud account. You can turn it off at any time. Free and Unlimited The free version includes one journal entry each day, transcription, search, Face ID and export of your 30 most recent entries. Hay Unlimited adds unlimited entries, full statistics, photo attachments, custom tags and full-library export.
