This app is beyond glitchy. It only works 50% of the time (if that)… and it does not save where you left off on your previous watched shows.
please fix what needs to be fixed
works half the time, constantly have to close and reopen the app just to play things, download function doesn’t work. Shows are good, hayu is good, this app is not. please please please work on this
Terrible designed app
I love the content on here but I hate the app. It’s poorly designed and when you download something it just likes to completely delete it self within 10 minutes of just downloading in. It really needs a re design or something the app is so glitchy
Glitchy unreliable app
This is by far the WORST streaming app you could ever use. It constantly for years now (5+) freezes, glitches, sometimes to the point I have to turn my whole tv off and back on again.
I have a smart TV and one day, the whole app is not even on the TV anymore ?? Like I’m not even able to download it again, it’s unavailable.
Don’t even get me started about the app on my phone/tablet. The constant error messages are so irritating

Worst streaming service I’ve ever come across. Constant bugs and glitches.

Can’t stream
Haven’t been able to stream anything on my TV for over a week. Contacted support who were looking into but I’m yet to hear anything back even when I followed up. Absolutely useless app and extremely annoying it’s the only one is AU that has bravo shows

I’ve used Hayu many times over the years, and honestly, it’s still one of the worst streaming apps I’ve ever used. I took a break from it and came back thinking that with all the improvements in technology, surely the app would have improved too — but unfortunately, it hasn’t.
It constantly freezes, cuts out and struggles to play episodes properly. I can rarely get through an episode without it stopping or cutting out, sometimes multiple times in the same episode. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re paying for a streaming service.
After all these years, I really expected better. Hayu desperately needs to improve the reliability and streaming quality of its app. So disappointing because Hayu actually has good shows 🤩😳

Frustrating App
I enjoy the shows but this app is the worst for streaming! It stops in the middle of the shows and shuts down, it can take several attempts to start up (using an LG TV) and I feel lucky if I can get it open. Very frustrating

Unrealistic, laggy and inconsistent
Functionality far behind common apps like Netflix.
It randomly won’t open on the tv and randomly logs you out.
Surely put what you are currently watching near the top of the app so you can keep watching.

Great selection of shows… but we gotta talk about the app!
Hayu… PLEASE work on your app. We’ve been here before with countless bugs! Was working great for a while but on the back of a recent price increase…this is getting ridiculous. If you’re going to ask viewers to pay MORE $ for an app.. please make the BARE MINIMUM of a working app worth it.
Don’t do it!!
If there’s another way you can watch your show without having to get this app, do it that way!! Trust me when I say you do not want the curse of having to deal with this app. The creators of this app do not care about the user experience, they only care about taking your yearly subscription and finding some stupid reason to increase it every year. I’ve dealt with this terrible app through so many stupid issues. The latest? Telling me I have to renew my subscription in August 2026, when my yearly subscription was paid for and renewed in March 2026. I lost access to my shows for a night. Nothing I did could fix it and miraculously it’s fixed now (??) Another thing Hayu looooooves to do is log you out from time to time and make you log in again for no apparent reason. It also CANNOT handle the offline download function, so if you’re trying to download your fave eps to watch during a flight, good luck. I really hate the inconvenience this app has bought to my life

Very glitchy app
Downloaded the app and signed up to the subscription, thinking everything is ok. But as soon as you start watching something the app is having errors. At one point the app became so glitchy that it’s forgotten that I’ve already paid for subscription and decided to log me out after a minute. When it came to logging back in again it took forever to sign in. I just wish the creators of this app actually fix the problems (as it’s seems to going on for years) don’t get me wrong a brilliant concept but the most stressful app I’ve came across

Shockingly awful app to use
Love the content on the app but everything about the app is awful. It’s slow, laggy and has countless of issues when comes to user experience. It will log you out then when trying to sign in again it’s a nightmare to get back into the account. It’s frustrating to see the lack of improvement over the years.

Lags and times out
Love the shows it offers. But it’s the worst app. So slow on a Samsung tv. Other TVs it’s times out. Today’s it’s asking to finish off my sign up. I’ve been signed up for 7 years.
Pulling teeth seems less painful
This app is always quick to take your money but never works properly ( No matter the device). iPhone 17, definitely not, latest Samsung TV, hell no! Unsure why it’s so bad, but nothing loads and will skip or stall while watching. The shows and movies are awesome. But if you cannot watch them? Is it worth it?

Truly the worst
The quality and reliability of this platform is significantly worse than apps that are free. Services are always down and there are constant bugs that will log you out and not allow you to log back in. They are content in the knowledge that they are the only Australian platform with license over numerous bravo shows so make no effort whatsoever to provide a serviceable app. Very disappointing
