What’s the point
This is one of the worst apps I’ve ever used

Like another reviewer I have the expensive 700 headphones and the app no longer recognises them?!
Missing key functionality
Please add parametric equalisation. Preferably with a good amount of bands, maybe even notch filters.
These headphones are fantastic but the factory EQ is very bass heavy. I get it, people buy bassy headphones but there is no way of tuning them.
Even better would be a “flat” EQ, Loudness EQ, etc and the ability to change it from there.
I fell in love with your pro level gear, these headphones deserve the ability to be tuned.

Broken app in iOS and android. At least they’re consistent.
$800 headphones with an app that doesn’t work
Title says all.
DOESNT WORK
It initially connected but dropped out after changing a setting. After that it won’t work at all. As this app is an advertised feature of the earphones It needs to be fixed.
Hugely disappointing
With TW-E7B doesn’t work
I have successfully paired the earbuds via bluetooth but the app on iPhone & iPad still states “this app is not supported by your device”. I can’t change the earbuds settings because the app doesn’t see them.

iPhone 14 Pro device not recognised
The app says the device is not recognised. Can’t use the app for anything, definitely needs an update.
Barely any support or functionality
What blows my mind about Yamaha is the ability to make headphones like the YH-L700A, yet put no effort into their software. It’s bare bones at absolute best.
No EQ options, no in-ear detection, no multi-point connection? These seem like simple fixes that could elevate the attractiveness of these headphones to a larger audience. Come on Yamaha, we’re rooting for you guys!

App does not work
The app doesn’t recognise my yh-e700 and says that this app doesn’t not work on this device (iPhone 12). Really upsetting considering how expensive these headphones were and the fact I can’t use all their features without the app
It was good until…
This is a great app to control the setting of the headphones I just bought. However, now while I try to connect my headphones, a pop up message says “This app is not supported by your Device.” I downloaded the latest iOS (iOS 15) and it still gives me this message. Hopefully there’s a fix for this soon
Update 11/6/21: So I kept trying to connect these still but I wasn’t able to…until I changed the name of my headphones on Bluetooth to its default name (In my case, Yamaha YH-L700A). So to the developers of this app, this may be one of the issues that’s causing users not being able to connect their headphones to this app. Just a thought.

Broken
App doesn’t recognised my paired my YH-L700As after the latest firmware update. Not a major problem as I can still use the headphones without connecting them to the app but that means I can’t use the equalisers or noise cancelling controls in the app
Not compatible with my device
I have an IOS 14 something and this only requires 11 but it still says “this app is not compatible with your device”
