Update Changed Everything

I’ve used this app since I had my daughter 16 months ago. It has saved me so much anxiety and I’ve told tons of new moms to download it. But the update two days ago changed the entire interface to be about adults too, integrating insurance, benefits, etc. AND all of my saved history DISAPPEARED. I tried logging in all ways to recover it but now I’m starting from scratch. 16 months of building a timeline that any future question was based off of, just gone. And now, the app is focused on the entire family and feels completely shifted away from being an app for babies/kids. I’m so upset and disappointed.

Gives dangerous advice

I used to love this app but something changed a few months ago and now it is constantly giving me incorrect answers, which is a big deal when the topic is health, especially the health of babies and children. The app constantly glitches and fails to acknowledge my sons birth YEAR, so it gives me answer as if my baby was 3 months old instead of 15 months old. Which makes the answers dramatically different and incorrect. And the worst offense that lead me to writing this review - I asked it for the dosage of “infant Motrin” based on my toddlers age and weight, and it gave me answer that was DOUBLE the safe dose bc it was answering as if I asked for “children’s Motrin”. (They are NOT the same, the concentration is very different and the app failed to read my prompt correctly). If I didn’t double check the answer elsewhere I would have been overdosing my baby and causing him organ damage just from trusting this glitchy apps responses. Anyway this app is really dangerous now and absolutely not trustworthy for the care and safety of your babies and children. I tried flagging the response but couldn’t reach a human so I’m leaving a review here hoping they’ll take it off the App Store before someone’s baby overdoses on medicine from a parent who trusted its faulty answers

Crashes a lot

Love this app. it has helped me make sure my little one is on track, but it is pretty slow and crashes almost everytime i use it. my messages also hardly send through, i have to click them multiple times and usually, they send twice which is annoying.

It’s amazing!

I have had a few times that I have been in a panic and this app has been so great. It’s reassuring, gives great guidance and when I check in with the pediatrician, it’s the exact same guidance. It has helped ease my mind many times. Highly recommend!

SKETCHY BUSINESS PRACTICES

The owner of Heal Labs Inc., Onur Kardesler, was found infiltrating at least one private online pregnancy group. They copied posts, pasted them into the Heal app, then spewed AI-generated advice back to unsuspecting pregnant women going through confusing or traumatic experiences. Other accounts under different names have joined and continue to do the same thing despite an initial ban. There is no telling how many pregnancy groups (based on due date) the owner of this app has snuck into to harvest data and promote their app. It’s sickening. Don’t trust them with your private health data, and be careful what you post online.

Love it, but keeps crashing out after typing out responses

I love this app and have used it for almost a year now since I’ve had my second baby. Recently though, I will type out something and the app will close out and erase everything and having to retype everything again is super frustrating. Overall great when it works.

Used to be good

Used to be helpful now it isn’t. Provides the same solution when I ask for alternatives. Also, never lets me click the arrow to submit my response or it takes forever or submits my response multiple times. Too glitchy now which is too bad.

This app has some serious problems

I’m so disappointed in this app. When I first got it I used it for everything but now it doesn’t show me my own child no matter how many times I input my information. I know things about other peoples children because the app keeps the history as well.

Not miscarriage friendly

App does not let you log a miscarriage. Very upsetting to have to open the app to be reminded of how far along you would be. Even more frustrating when trying to log a new pregnancy as it won’t let you over ride your previous pregnancy. Very disappointing when as many as 1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage.

Disappointed

Repetitive and random; ignores details shared seconds before; continues to talk about conditions that no one has because one question was asked

Love it!

Has been a huge help postpartum and on my relactation journey!!

App won’t work

I’ve redownloaded this multiple times after I log in I get a white screen

LOVE IT

This app is SO helpful! It gives me a peace of mind for questions and concerns, and gives ideas and great suggestions

New update is awful

Since the app updated I can’t look at the calendar to check if he’s hitting the proper milestones and also it shows different babies every time and never mine

No more googling

Heal has been a total lifesaver.
I love how simple it makes everything. I can ask a question anytime, and it either gives a clear answer or helps me find the right care. No more guessing or Googling symptoms. It just works.

Don’t like the new update

I hate this new update. I now cannot see the calendar when my baby is in a normal stage or developmental stage, and it doesn’t give me any information at a glance about his development like before. Also there used to be a nice doctor widget, and I really appreciated that because it made me feel like I had someone to talk to that could help me, and motherhood can feel lonely. I know it’s just a computer, but still. Now it’s just another faceless AI app. 👎🏼
