Map is off by 5000 miles
Searching for procedure places within 200 miles of my zip code nothing comes up, click on any distance and results come up that are places 30 miles from my zip code but your map says they are over 5000 miles away
App not working
This app does not work the way it is supposed to. I have been in contact with the company who runs it, Medefy, with no resolution. I only want to see my benefits and policy. It has now been 2 weeks and still not working.

Scam
HealthChoice is nothing more than a money laundering scheme for state tax dollars. The coverage sucks and the customer service is abysmal. State employees are given other “options” but the state ensures they pick overpriced HMO plans that aren’t useable in 90% of the state so employees are forced into using their communist health plan.

Confusing
I like I can instantly ask questions but sometimes a response takes so long I’m no longer in the app. I logged in today and answered a question from 4/23 about my spouses secondary insurance and got a response that had nothing to do with the previous conversation and was very confusing.
I love this app!
I don’t like having to spend time discussing insurance claims and coverage. The in-app chat is really awesome! I can just text someone and say “hey what’s up with this bill?” And they explain it or fix it within minutes.

Terrible
When I open the app, the only thing I can see is the chat option. It won’t allow me to do anything else. I have tried deleting and reinstalling but nothing seems to fix it. It’s useless to me like this.
Rarely updated info
This app worked well at first. But in September of 2025 it just stopped viewing any Claims/EOB information. “Contact Support” also is dead. Continually advises there was a problem. Been doing that since October. The sections that do work, are really handy. The ones that don’t make it hard to review spending and claim info. Wishing for better.

The chat person gave me great information pertaining to my problem. It was an insurance question which is often confusing!
Will not allow me to create my account
This app will not allow me to get past the birthdate option to create an account because the keyboard covers the next button and will not allow me to remove it to push it. It won’t allow to try it on landscape or anything. Have had it for a year and gave up the first time. Had a colleague tell me to use it and now I remember why I haven’t been using it.

Horrible if you change your phone number
If you have two step verification this app has no way to verify a different way if you change your phone number.
Available at all times
The chat option has been a life saver for me. They helped me through the most difficult season of my life. They were always available and they never gave up helping me until they found the right doctor and procedure for me.
