Difficult to read, difficult to use
I find the health rota much harder to use than an excel spreadsheet.
Not having a full calendar month available seems strange. Not being able to export to a different program. Different shifts being in random orders (This may be how the hospital is using the software). Poor usability.
I was quite excited when this came out! I’m now somewhat depressed that this feels like another cumbersome NHS IT program to have to wade through on a daily basis.

Not that user friendly
The app has far less functionality than the desktop website, which defeats its purpose really. Can’t seem to amend rotas on the app.
It works !!
Great features. Great support.
Notifications
I find this app helpful but the notifications page is a little annoying. If a colleague offers to give up a shift and another colleague accepts, the notification nevertheless remains in my list (I have 51). Similarly there are currently several notifications that locums are available; surely each new notification overrides and should delete previous notifications? As a first simple workaround I’d suggest a swipe to delete function.

Day view is totally messed up!
After the latest update the day view has been totally messed up, timing and sometimes night shifts are totally lost. Tried reinstalling but nothing helps. Please check.

It asks password everytime when I use it
After latest update, It asks password everytime when I use it and it is not an user-friendly feature. It was much better before the latest update. Please help me to sort this problem.

Great Rota
I’ve had a range of different rota formats over the years and I really like HealthRota. It’s really easy to use, a great little app with a really helpful team.

This is a must have resource for a functioning ED rota! The app works well and keeps getting updated! 👍🏻

A great addition to the web based rostering program for doctors
Continual improvement. As a Rota lead the benefits of consultant colleagues swapping their own shifts reduces the time I need to interact with the rota.
