What's New in HearHear

1.0.5

October 27, 2026

What's new in 1.0.5 (since 1.0.4 build 5) New - Upcoming tab redesign: your own plans come first, then shows friends have saved, then picks for your city (#107). - Add an act: you can add openers and co-headliners from Log a Show and from the show page (#103). - Better feedback on Saved and Going: clearer looks, haptics and spring animations when you tap them (#104). - Help with getting in: sign-up, sign-in and onboarding now have a "Having issues getting in? Email …" line at the bottom (#105). Fixes - Block check: a crash fix found in Sentry (ENCORE-IOS-H), which hit 62 people (#102). - Home: no more flicker when switching between Everyone and Following (#109). - Activity: tapping a person's picture or name now opens their profile (#108). - App name: system prompts now say "HearHear" instead of "encoreiOS" (#98). Behind the scenes - Crash and error reporting moved from Sentry to PostHog (#100). - Analytics now match the web app for search, how far people scroll the feed, and show page views (#101).

Concert Archives

I go to a lot of concerts, and I forget most of them. I’ll grab a ticket on a whim, end up watching a band I’ve never heard of, have a great night, and a few months later it’s gone from my head.

What surprised me was seeing my friends tag me at shows I went to years ago. I’d think “wait, I was there?” and then the whole night would come back. I was so grateful they remembered, and I kind of wished I’d been the one to log them.

Now I’m finally keeping track myself, and it’s made me appreciate those nights more than I expected. A lot of my best memories are from shows where I walked in knowing nothing about the artist. It feels good to know those won’t just disappear on me anymore.

Finally a social app I actually want to use!!!

Love what HearHear is building!

I wish I had HearHear 10 years ago so I had all the memories logged from concerts I’ve been to! So excited to have it now as a place to revisit my favorite shows with my favorite people in the future.

It’s also been fun to see what shows my friends are going to (especially those who live in different places). I might discover we saw the same band on tour in different cities or notice the latest shows they went to that help me discover an artist I like too, etc. Such a nice way to stay connected with friends who love music like you do!

Response from developer

We wish we had it 10 years ago too! Glad it's filling that gap now and thanks for the kind words... we're working on more features to help friends stay connected. - Adam

A diary and discovery tool!

Really useful app not only for logging concerts but for discovering new music, events nearby, cool venues, and upcoming releases. So nice to have an app that only works if you go out into the world and experience it! Love HearHear

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind words, and glad the discovery side is landing too! Agreed completely about the IRL piece — as our world gets more online and our feeds get more filled with AI slop, we think seeing and sharing live music will be even more special and essential! - Adam

Finally!

Goodreads, letterboxd, and now HEAR HEAR! So excited to have the app and follow my friends and track upcoming concerts. Oh, that random passion pit concert I attended in 2013? Someone named Daniella on hear hear was also there! Love the interface too.

Response from developer

Discovering random connections like that — spotting someone else who was at the same random show 13 years ago — has been one of the most fun parts of building this. Thanks for being here early, and for putting us in such good company with Goodreads and Letterboxd... those are our north stars! - Adam

Finally, a place for my concert memories!!

Such a cool idea for anyone who loves live music. HearHear gives you a place to keep track of the shows you’ve been to, revisit those memories, and discover what’s coming up. The social side makes it even more fun—seeing the shows your friends have been to and sharing your favorites. Concerts deserve more than a few photos buried in your camera roll. Excited to see this grow!

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind words! "Concerts deserve more than a few photos buried in your camera roll" — that's exactly why we built this. We're working on even better social features, so feel free to send any feedback or feature ideas directly in the app! - Adam
