App Won’t Open
I have used this app before on older generation IPads but it isn’t workin on my iPad Pro 5th generation.
No sound
I folled the instructions, but there is no sound, and no way to submit issues from within the app
Not working anymore
Have owned this app for just over a year now. I liked using it for educational purposes and planned to use it tomorrow for a demo and the sound is not working. I tried deleting it and re-installing but it hasn’t fixed the issue.
No sound
Just purchased and it doesn’t work.
This app does work
This app does work but you have to put headphones into the iPad to hear the sounds and the altered sounds attributed to different levels of hearing loss.shame no one mentioned it in the app instructions. It does seem a little silly that you can't hear it directly though the iPad speakers.
Hearing Loss Simulator
I love this simple but effective app. I've been interested in exactly what my hearing loss sounded like and have wanted to share it with others. This app does it perfectly.
Not iPad Air or iOS 7 compatible
Can't select any of the audiogram items; they're inactive. When I press the "continue" arrow, the app crashes and exits. Probably not iPad Air or iOS 7 compatible.
Excellent
Excellent tool that is meant for the professional hearing provider, but is available to the public. I love to use it at Heath fairs and help families understand what their loved ones go through...The teacher that gave a low rating prob needs to look in a teachers supply school curriculum catalog. I have a moderate to severe hearing loss and love this tool...u can also connect it to a projector for your class. in addition a lot has improved since 2012 ...today hearing aids can communicate with iPhones!

Doesn't make any sound
Great idea, have used something similar but slightly more basic on the Phonak website.
Without any sound, however, this app is totally useless. Avoid buying.

Doesn't work
This app looks great but when downloaded onto my I pad nothing worked as it should. The sound files were intermittent and the recordings never played back.
Pointless!

Very nice, although
It meant a lot for me to be able to show my husband what it was like for me. There wasn't a precise one that matched my audiogram, but I just showed him a couple of the moderate ones and explained that it was probably a bit worse ("moderately severe"). It would be great if you could input your own audiogram results and use those!

Not for iPhone
I give 5 stars for the concept, 3 because I do see now that this is only compatible with iPad, but most apps can be used on the phone. I'm disappointed that it isn't iPhone compatible when Siri can even talk to you.
I'm a teacher of the deaf and often am trying to explain what it sounds like to be deaf because my students get accused of hearing instructions because they turned around in response to the person's voice. I need to show how they can 'hear' yet not comprehend.

Very useful app
This is a great app for speech language therapists. Now I can more easily explain and demonstrate what hearing impaired students can and cannot hear to teachers and parents.
Great program!
This program is really useful for giving hearing people an insight into what a deaf person hears. It would be really helpful if it also had an option to manually set the audiogram so it could accurately represent a particular person's hearing - hopefully this may come in future versions? (please!).
Very useful program, two thumbs up!

Lacking features
I think the configurations are some standard hearing losses. I would think a custom configuration that can be set by the user would be nice. I have a hearing loss, but the configurations set is not what I have now and I can not use this software to let my family members hear what I hear now.
OK
Needs a bit more work. Television and canned voices would speed the intuitiveness of the app.
