Interesting

So we read the reviews and decided to use it as entertainment for the drive home. (My son used google maps to answer the location questions)
After learning it was not going to take us to notable stops around the city and it had the potential of a lot of frustration
We had hoped it was going to be a bit of a walking tour
(I think that would have been 4 hours if we did that)

I wish it was more family friendly (cussing wasn’t needed)
It may be AI generated.

I feel there’s a good product here , just needs better execution.
I will say it was probably a good two hours of our drive
So that was nice

I was honest and paid for 2 people so $25 I feel was steep for what we got. $15 would have made more sense for this product
Worth more if they tweak it though

Not worth $15

The experience was not what we expected. The AI generated images were outdated, and the questions were poorly written and the walk was avoidable - definitely not needed to complete this game. The idea for the game is good, but the execution of it was poorly done. Maybe it’ll get better after so many reviews? Don’t waste your money.

Not my favorite experience

Cool concept but the execution was poor. Many of the clues were misguided or vague, so we as participants were often getting the questions wrong. At some point, we stopped listening to the case presentation because the questions weren't related to them truthfully.

Many of the clues had buildings that looked different or asked questions (e.g. how many stripes are on the northwest crossing) that could change simply with normal upkeep of the city. Not sure if the makers have any on the ground who occasionally does the tour to ensure that clues are updated.

Fun experience

We had a great time with this experience. We chose the driving and 4 of us drove around to the locations and listened to the audio interviews. I hope they make more episodes. We would do it again. And $19.99 for 4 people to have an interesting adventure is a good deal to me.

A fun adventure in Troy, New York

It was definitely a fun experience for my birthday. We picked the driving option, and it took us to interesting locations. The apartment complex where the victim lived was private property. I do wish the game was more interactive besides the skill checks that required a lot of math or getting out of the car on private property to look for numbers. In addition, one location that was a grocery store where the homeless suspect had been arrested for stealing in the story is a unity house, which was probably unintentional, but that part of the story seemed in poor taste. So overall it was a good experience with friends, but I believe whoever researched the place could have chosen better, more iconic and accessible locations for the story and made the experience more interactive in ways that are relevant to the story.

Murder mystery detective experience, Langford

Thoroughly enjoyed and far exceeded my expectations. Well done and a great way to spend an afternoon with my daughter and wife. First rate and five stars

The best Adventure

I had a blast driving around town trying to solve Andrew’s murder. This would be a great game to play in a group, but it was even fun solo. The best part was solving the clues. I was able to explore aspects of my city that I never really paid attention too. I can’t wait for more adventures to be unlocked.

Wow! A real standout.

The highlight of trying the app / experience was all the fun we had making fun of this scam. I booked with two 13 year old kids who were excited to solve a mystery. By the 2nd location we realized visiting the locations is pointless, just like buying this app. The day was saved by countless jokes about the average app and pointless questions that are more meaningless than the plot.

THIS DESERVES ZERO STARS

Trying Not To Get Mugged

Chose this activity while in Duluth, MN. Entire experience could have been done from my hotel, most clues were solvable by building fronts and just common sense. Whoever scoped out locations for this experience must not have seen they were in the drug den area of Duluth and more focused on the quick cheap easy money from this awful idea. Not worth the money, maybe $1. Do not bother downloading this app. I could have made a safer scavenger hunt on my own.

Both Good and Bad

The idea behind this is good. The phone app is designed well and the audio clips for the actors are much better than I expected. we enjoyed the storyline and trying to guess who the killer was. the problem is there is no point in travelling to any of the locations. there is nothing to do at any location that has anything to do with solving the crime. and the irrelevant questions they ask about many of the locations you'll get wrong because the location has changed since the questions were written. (ex. things have been re-painted a different color, parking lots have been altered, buisinesses have moved out of a particular building etc.). hence u get most of those questions wrong and coulda played the game from your couch .

Game has nothing to do with the locations

Don’t waste your money. The game is poorly designed, written and executed. The city locations have really nothing to do with the game. They just picked out locations on google maps that just barely align with the story. They only use locations to ask questions completely unrelated to the plot, and then they get some of their answers wrong.

So much fun!

We had a great time! We did the driving The app was easy to figure out. Look forward to doing it more.

Fun in Town

Really fun if you drive or walk around!! Kept us entertained for hours. Tricky too!

Spam - be careful

Disagreements:
1- Unclear advertising on websites!
2- Nobody answers phones (We called 8 times)
3- We waited for 40 minutes at the meeting point
4- It ruined the Valentine's night activity.

Absolute garbage

I do lots of crime solving things and really enjoy doing it with my fiance. We found this while in Ga and really wanted a day of walking around with some murder mystery. Boy did I waste my $15 and hours trying to figure out the stupid formatting. Instructions say “click on experiences to start” for the walking route. WE ARE OUT OF TOWN WE WANT TO WALK AROUND. Literally no option anywhere on the app to click experiences it took me to a black and blank page every time. So after hours of being mad about this I just switched to website version. Also garbage. The formatting is horrible the actors are so cheesy. Good concept but literally couldn’t do anything because of the way it was formatted. If it would’ve worked it maybe would’ve been cool but I’ve wasted so much time hoping that if I just give it one more go it’ll idk WORK. Wish I could get my money back but bought it through a third party. Do not waste your money or time on this app. Go to Walmart or target and you’re better off pretending the murder mystery box you bought there happened in your city

AI generated?

Cool concept and activity, but actually terrible. The activity doesn’t actually require you to go to the places to solve the mystery. It’s based on very outdated Google map images. As a result, the answers end up being incorrect… well outdated images and terrible programming of the questions and answers.
