About
Prepare for the heart team conference before you walk in.
Heart Team Prep turns a real cardiac surgery case into a structured, conference-ready report — and lets you hear how a surgeon, a non-interventional cardiologist, and an interventional cardiologist would each approach it, so you can practice defending your plan before you're asked to.
HOW IT WORKS
• Describe a case in your own words, by dictating or typing — no patient identifiers needed, just the clinical picture.
• Answer only the follow-up questions still needed to complete the picture — never ones you've already answered, and you can stop early if you'd rather proceed with what you have.
• Review a nine-section report: diagnosis, indication, missing information, operative strategy, alternatives, controversies, technical considerations, postoperative concerns, and evidence/guideline topics.
THREE PERSPECTIVES, ONE CASE
See how a cardiac surgeon, a non-interventional cardiologist, and an interventional cardiologist would each read the same case — their recommendation, their reasoning, and where they'd genuinely disagree. Each stance is graded using the real ACC/AHA Class of Recommendation and Level of Evidence framework, so you see not just what they'd recommend but how strongly the evidence supports it.
EVIDENCE, NOT JUST OPINION
Every heart-team position is backed by an on-demand PubMed search for supporting and opposing literature — built to recognize when a decision (like TAVR vs. SAVR durability) turns on longer-term data than a typical recency filter would surface.
BUILT FOR CARDIAC SURGERY, SPECIFICALLY
Dictation, terminology, and the whole workflow are built around cardiac surgery vocabulary and case structure from the ground up — not a general surgery tool with a cardiac skin.
Built for cardiac surgery trainees preparing to present and defend a case. Heart Team Prep is an educational preparation tool: it does not provide medical advice and does not replace clinical judgment, institutional policy, or supervision. Do not include patient names, hospital or institution names, dates of service, or other identifying information — describe cases in de-identified clinical terms only.
Your first complete case preparation is free.
