Love Heartbeat
I searched long and hard for the perfect community app. Not just as a member, but also as someone who runs a membership.
One of the things that made me use HeartBeat was the fact that the mobile app is so fantastic.
They were the first ones who solved the problem elegantly of toggling back and forth between different memberships and toggling back and forth as a member and as a host.
That, to me, was one of the biggest selling points. The app is nice and easy and super well streamlined. I highly recommend it.

Faster and Easier to Navigate…
The app has greatly improved in speed and overall usability. It’s easy to navigate and use. Love it!

Heartbeat has been an incredible membership hub for my Community and Signature online course. Because it’s has user-friendly features I get to create new experiences for new and current members. They keep expanding the technology so I get to expand with them. It’s a WIN-WIN!
Couldn’t listen to it entirely
I signed up for a one-month subscription to see what this app is all about, and I’m still deciding how much value it brings.
The main reason I’m writing this review is to share some feedback: I genuinely struggled listening to the female narrator because of her tone and pacing. I don’t have ADHD, but listening to her speak so slowly almost made me feel like I did. The content may be great, but the delivery made it very difficult for me to stay engaged!!

Great for Admins, not so much for Users
Great for me as a membership owner, but my users have so many issues logging in. I use ‘MS Clarity’ to track user experience and behaviour and see so many people not knowing where to click, and trying to access the community straight away. Having to download the app to get into the membership is friction point and many people just give up. Case in point I have 63 people abandoned out of 170.

Auto subscriptions and no cancellation
I have been auto subscribed to their AIE Grow where they charge $128 weekly and now they won’t cancel it. Pls be aware!

Disappointing
This app has so many good possibilities, but there are glitches that no one has fixed over time. Notifications are inconsistent, and important messages missed. At this point, I no longer anticipate anybody will fix it.
Invasion of privacy
I downloaded this as recommended by a FB group I was following. Yesterday I went to put a comment in & tapped on first icon in error. It pulled up my entire photos. I have photo sharing turned off on my settings. There are personal things I do not want to share that’s why it’s off. I consider this an invasion of privacy.

Have tried so many community platforms, and I love heartbeat the most. If you want a taste, join their free community The Hearth, for community builders. They have so much heart, passion and care for community. Love it
Gotten so bad-phone worse than laptop
I’ve been using HB for 2+ years and it is wonky. My phone app will show I have a communication of some sort but refused to show me what it is. I have to get on my laptop to figure it out. That is only one of about 10 daily complaints I have about the system. Could so easily be better than this.
And I’m pretty sure all those ultra enthusiastic reviews are from Heartbeat makers or paid reviews. No one could legitimately be that happy about this app 🧐

Fast as a flatlined heartbeat
The features the app offers are great as far as organizing content and structuring a community is concerned. But if the app performance is non existent then what’s the point. It’s like having a car that doesn’t move.
I find myself always waiting for chats to load, tapping for 30 seconds on a menu item before the app responds, overlapping content, and other similar performance related issues.
Fix the performance and you’ve got a winner. Don’t and it’s a dud.

HATE This App
I literally hate using this app, but I have no choice because my provider uses it. It’s just terrible on an iPad. The log in forces you to go to your email every time, which is just ridiculous in this day and age. Then the frame is tiny even when expanded. They have incompetent tech designers. I will only log in on the web cause the app is useless. Don’t bother if you’re not forced into using it.

Terrible UI
It’s says it’s compatible with iPads. That is very misleading since the view is specifically showing with an iPhone mobile view in a small rectangle in the centre of the screen. I disagree and will continue to use it only on my phone and the website on my Mac.
