Plays with others
I appreciate being able to listen to audible, see my cycle stats on Strava and my heart rate on my phone without tech glitches.
Good but …..
I use this to over come the short comings of the FIT controller on my Reise & Müller Homage 5 HS Pinion ebike. It does not see the Apple Watch as a heart rate monitor. A Bluetooth issue I believe.
However, HeartCast does transfer the Apple Watch heart rate to the bike display. But in doing so it stops the Apple Activity app from running.

Works well with MyWhoosh
Previously gave up on using my watch for indoor cycling after how unreliable the zwift version was.
Moved to MyWhoosh and realised they had no watch app, and came across this.
Works perfectly, and is reliable and stable. Not a single drop out.
Great that it lets me now connect to anything that needs a Bluetooth heart rate sensor

When it works, it’s great

New version works perfectly!
Thanks for the attention on fixing this app.

I wish this app would work even 90% of the time. It consistently loses connection with the watch. I’m using it with ROUVY and I start the app on my phone and then initiate the heart rate tracking on my watch. It consistently drops out. During my ride, I have to quit it. Restarted it quit it restarted it. Please figure out what the Bluetooth issue is with this because that’s where the problem seems to lie. Consistently losing connection to the watch. I would love to rate this higher, but it just doesn’t work reliably enough. I’m going back to the Apple workout tracking which is too bad because it’s nice when it works with ROUVY.

This is good
I had difficulty understanding how to start it, still not sure.
I use it to communicate with my Riese & Müller Homage 5 S Pinion. Which has a FIT controller that does not communicate directly with Apple Watch.
Heart rate now on FIT display.
Heartcast was a ChatGP suggestion.

Simple and brilliant
It just does it, no fuss.
EXCELLENT !
I’ve been looking all over forever for an app that does exactly this and I’ve been searching for a long time. Finally found this one and it does exactly what I wanted. Kudos to you and it’s free! But I went beyond and purchased all the in app stuff available. Great app for the gym.
The only heart rate app you need
Simple, clean layout and easy to use. Nothing else is needed to send your heart rate to any Bluetooth app or machine. Picks up from Watch, AirPods Pro 3, or chest strap. I use it to send data to a Concept2 rower and EXR running on an IPad. Love it.
Great HR App!
this app does everything I wanted it do which is tell me my heart rate. I don’t get into all the other fancy Google technical jargon. I just want my heart rate. Is that a crime I think not! bravo to HeartCast for putting out an excellent product!
Great app except
Fantastic app. Live activities seems to work sometimes during locked screen. It’s working fine for airpulse so must be a bug?
Love this app
I use this to capture heart rate with the Zwift indoor cycling app. It works really well. Just click the start button on the iPhone app and it automatically starts up the app on your watch. And now (through the phone) your watch is a standard Bluetooth heart rate monitor. Works reliably and easily. Highly recommended.

Corrupts workout data
If you don’t stop the workout and close the app, then come back later it will write garbage data to apple health even with the app off.
Thanks
What a nice app and for free, big thanks for your support, development and this app.
Im using the app to send heart rathe to mywhoosh which runs on a second apple device (ipad or appletv).
Problem, if i start a training work out parallel on my whatch, the communication of my hearts rate will be 0, no values any more

Not for Garmin
When you read the help it does not support Garmin Edge devices. Looks great otherwise!
Funktioniert perfekt für Zwift
Mit AirPods Pro
Not for tacx training app
Unfortunately it doesn’t work for what I wanted, which was to easily sync HR from apple watch to tacx indoor workouts. All it does is separately start a indoor cycling (or other) workout, which I can already do with apple workouts.
Brilliant
I’ve used HeartCast to connect my Apple Watch heart rate to Zwift, Peloton, MyWhoosh, and now Kinomap. It has gotten simpler and faster the past few years and, any time I’ve had issues, it was because of the other software I was connecting to. I didn’t want to buy a dedicated heart rate monitor when I already had an Apple Watch. When I couldn’t find any other solution, this was it and it continues to be the best solution for me.

heart rate can pass to garmin 1040 by using my iphone & apple watch?
subject is the question thank you
Great new features, but…
The latest updates came with great new features, including faster and more reliable connection. However, it is annoying that it always writes the workout to Apple Health. Despite the settings that it shouldn’t. So that leaves you with always deleting it manually afterwards.
Not satisfied
Not supporting devices that are not Apple Watch
