Heartline Study
This request for the final two days to ‘wrap up’ is the only other communication I’ve received.
So discouraged by the poor effort and guidance in communication and misleading/incorrect info for this ‘study’. Very negative experience.
This app might have saved my life.
Heartline
I have been in the program for about a year, and have learned a great deal about heart health. This is a useful tool and I recommend it.
Oops!
Heartline
Don’t know if I got into the sleep study in time. Primary problem is checking on additional info/studies in a timely manner.
Need to move my Heartline icon for viewing more quickly I guess.
Smooth function, a bit TMI
Update: some of the information felt condescending. Exercises did not take account of my disability, so many of them were useless to me.
Your study saved my life
Contribute to huge health study, easily
After using the Heartline Study on my Apple Watch for a while, it’s really useful for the user as well as the researchers. So interesting to be able to check heart rate, blood oxygen, ECG, activity level any time, any where. It even checked to see if I crashed my car when I was washing a slippery watermelon in the sink - so I know that function works on the Series 7. And I can answer my phone! Real time numbers for me, and real time data for the study, automatically. We can help ourselves and help each other, for free. Highly recommended, and I’m looking forward to the glucose monitoring. Technology at it’s best.
Enjoying the study so far
Great Study
The only negative is the rewards program they set up. Personally I don't think they needed a rewards program but if you choose to do one then more consideration should be given to the implementation. The biggest negative is how you redeem the rewards. What you buy can't be more than the value of the card. Almost anything you buy you'll end up with left over cash you CAN'T spend.
Apple Watch 7
I alerts me when my blood sugar is low or high. It tracks my exercise. I can swipe to get into the YMCA, library or swipe and click to use Apple Pay.
Most of all, it gives me the feeling of always having someone who cares nearby when it thinks I fell, really I was clapping for my dog but security feels right. It even answers my phone, works with Alexa, allows me to check my messages and email.
Health wise I am feeling my confident everyday with this watch keeping tabs on my EKG, O2 sats, Heart rate and I could go on and on.
Oh I am 65 years and a retired Registered Nurse.
Somewhat mixed feelings

End of Heartline Study
My one criticism is that today I found out that my involvement with the study is winding down and will end in a year. I thought my involvement was open ended and would continue indefinitely especially since I am now diagnosed with AFib. It’s like being kicked to the side of the road now that my data is no longer needed. But given the history of Big Pharma and High Tech, I shouldn’t have been surprised. But still, I am disappointed. It would have been helpful to know from the beginning that the study was not open ended.
Can’t get an answer to my question
No room for me…
Easy peasy
Extremely Helpful Medical Tool
