Back but still not working properly
Managed to connect to new app but now finding the system just randomly changes time. Have to hit the ‘set time’ button frequently.
Do not trust Elkatherm or their suppliers (new and old). We paid thousands for a system that’s barely worked as it should in 5 years

Non-functional app
We have had this app for 9 years to control heating in a second home. It’s always been ‘fragile’ but hasn’t worked all for the last 9 months. No communication at all from supplier. Every time we called heating supplier kept saying a revamped app would be available soon. Then told in early January it would be available within a week. Still nothing 7 weeks later. We feel we are being constantly misled with the main feature for which we paid £10k being unavailable. We no longer trust the UK Elkatherm supplier/installer. We wait for a miracle to happen.

Diabolical!
Diabolical. the app Dev company, ELKATHERM and the local Wirral agents (north west heating) are incompetent and are not living up to their responsibilities. This is a terrible application and our expensive electrical radiators installations are reduced to individual manual operations.
Appalling
The app is supposed to control radiators connected via a hub. Connection is constantly lost. System is terrible. DO NOT BUY.
Long time customer
I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy these heaters let alone use this app. We’ve had them now for seven years and in that time we’ve had nothing but problems with the app and now the app has been off-line for months while they wait for the Spanish team fix it for us in the UK it’s rubbish worst money we ever spent.

Useless. Elkatherm radiators a waste of money with this
This hub and app are useless and create no end of problems which no one helps sort out. Hub won’t work with an EE modem so can’t control or programme the heating. Elkatherm recommend spending over £100 per radiators to fix the problem by installing their new remote control system, showing that Elkatherm recognise that Heatapp is useless. Avoid Elkatherm radiators

Absolute rubbish
It just doesn’t work. Has anyone found a workaround please? Is there a different app I can use? At the moment I can control about half my radiators by switching each one on or off manually, that’s all.
Waste of time and money
Having spent a lot of money on Elkatherm radiators, they are rendered useless with this terrible app. Its a disgrace to sell a heating system that relies on this app, I am going to contact trading standards about it

Unreliable
When this system works well it’s brilliant but, ever since it was installed which is 10 years now it cannot cope with power cuts which living in the country we have quite frequently it always says “cannot reach the hub” then there’s a lengthy period with phone calls to the supplier to no avail before low and behold 48 hours later it cures itself! Cannot recommend this system at all.

It doesn’t work - needs replacing urgently
This app is nowhere near fit for purpose. It constantly crashes, rarely connects and often doesn’t save the new programs you have spent a long time inputting. The user interface is abysmal. Sadly this app seems to have been little more than an afterthought, when it is a vital part of a very expensive product. It is the sole method we have for programming our Elkatherm radiators which cost us thousands of pounds (all of our savings). 100% would avoid if at all possible.

outdated and awful
The app is very outdated and never receives updates despite numerous reports of crash’s. whilst you are able to adjust the temp on each unit, the app will crash the next time you open it, making the adjustment time longer. is very user unfriendly compared to similar apps and products. Seems they sell you this great idea but in reality it’s pretty rubbish and forgotten about judging by the lack of updates

I find this app over-complicated and unreliable to operate with my Elkaterm radiators and would be unable to recommend this system to others, especially anyone who is not particularly technically inclined. However, I don’t know of any other digital app solution for operating this heating system. Warning: Do your research before purchasing. I didn’t do enough!

Very poor app
This is a very flaky app. We have had no end of problems with it constantly failing dropping out, then having to reconfigure everything. Latest example: it was working last winter, nothing has changed tech wise, nothing has been touched or fiddled with. Just tried to activate radiators now and it won’t connect saying that the hub is not recognised!!
So Fustrating!! DO NOT INVEST IN THIS TECHNOLOGY!!!

Disappointing
Bought the system to control remotely for my country property but is very disappointing as communication often breaks down. Doesn’t work when you need it the most. Software needs radical upgrades.

Your app is terrible especially when I need to connect to it when I’m not at home it does not work. PLEASE FIX THIS
Useless
Frequently crashes and needs to be re-downloaded which requires reconfiguring the information and sticking a screw driver in the back of the hub. The hub is so delicate I have already had one that broke. And they are not cheap to replace. I have it installed on a phone and an IPad if I use one device the other device app crashes. Absolute piece of rubbish but I’m stuck with as it’s the only App that controls my radiators. Deserves zero stars.
