The app is very buggy not smooth when you try to use it. The touching of the app is very glitchy please fix asap
Great product - horrible app
I absolutely adore heavy’s and their headphones, yet I can’t seem to use my brand new earbuds because this god forsaken app constantly disconnects, won’t even connect if I’m on WiFi, and when it succeeds to connect it fails its update multiple times. At least it’s free but by god does it need work
Connection Failed
Headphones themselves are good, but the app doesn’t work at all. You need to make an account for some reason *cough data collection? cough*, but over the course of a week of trying, I have been getting “Connection Failed: Could not connect to server. Please check your internet connection or try again”.
You’re unable to download firmware updates for these headphones without the app, and the PC downloader comes with a virus.

Stopped Working
The app was great until it stopped connecting to my headphones. 2 weeks and it’s still not working right. I’ve tried all the basic steps and I still get an unable to connect error soon as I open the app.
Instantly charged me 9$ to download the app
Why did I get charged 9$ for the app? Doesn’t come with any pre set equalizers but mainly just wanted to turn the bass and mids up anyway. Don’t like the unauthorized charge after paying a good chunk of change for my H11’s maybe it’ll fall off??
This app blows
Since this product features the option to customize an EQ, it would be nice if I didn’t have to summon the tech support gods to connect 300$ headphones to the app. Stop putting money into advertising those over priced cringe band ear cup pieces and fix your app 🤦.
Literally doesn’t work.
Heavys are On, connected to Bluetooth, I’m listening to music…”Can’t connect to your Heavys, please follow the instructions”…BRUH…I DID. Ridiculous.
App is not functional with headphones
Did everything it asked it to do and the app did not connect, doesnt work.
Needed this
using the eq on this app really makes these headphones be at their full potential, just kinda wish their were presets u can choose from or maybe even save some presets as well.
Has promise
It works well but frequently the app disconnects. Headphones keep working but I have to connect the app again. More bands or a parametric eq would be perfect. Also maybe create flushable profiles for different style/genres.
Update. Disconnect issues seem to have stopped. There are still a lot of extras and improvements I would love to see in the app. I love the headsets. Also they need true Spatial Audio and Atmos support. Especially Atmos as sometimes Atmos tunes sound a little funky.

App doesnt work anymore
App used to work but since I got a new phone it says it recognizes my headphones but can’t connect even though it’s already connected to Bluetooth and playing music
Wireless Gaming headset
I’m still waiting for y’all to make a wireless headset for gaming so I don’t have to use the wire boom mic style. I’m never a fan of wire headset but I’m still using my heavy’s for the past 2 years now.
Problems getting new buds to work properly
I am unable to update the drivers. The app was downloaded and the buds are connected but each time I try to update it fails. Only the right ear bud has any sound and the eq in the app doesn’t appear when I click on it
Almost perfect..
This app is really good for EQ, has certainly bought out different aspects of heavier music and really makes a difference. However, I really wish that there were a few preset options, as well as each slider sorta being a bit more informative of what they effect exactly in a mix. I had to google what each slider affected at first because I had no idea. I also have an issue where the last slider is partly off screen, and I am unable to see what number it’s set too. Nothing seems to fix it being offscreen slightly, which is annoying because I have to just guess what it’s on roughly.

Very limited features
Had some issues when the app was released due to needing to update the firmware of the headphones via a computer. Once I updated the firmware I was able to get the app to recognise the headphones. The app is very limited in features. It allows doing firmware updates but ever since the app has been released there has only been a single firmware update. Then there is the equaliser and that’s it, the app doesn’t do anything else. All the other features that were mentioned when the app was first announced were never implemented and it feels the app was just abandoned.

Initial growing pains
The app itself is very basic and didn’t initially connect to my backer version headset. After updating the firmware using an Android phone, (my browser flagged the firmware as a virus and I was unable to install from PC) everything works great. Love the sound and the feel of the headset. Highly recommend. Would be 5 stars if not for the initial struggles.

Can’t detect my heavy’s anymore
It worked fine up until recently now it just won’t pick up my heavy’s, the headphones work and connect via Bluetooth just fine otherwise, cannot update software or change eq settings, disappointed
Will not reconnect after Apple wiped my phone
I had to use my AppleCare to get my phone repaired and Apple wiped my phone. Since then, it repeatedly says it can find my Heavys but it cannot connect. I cannot get past this no matter what i do .

The app does what you need it too. I wish that the eq settings had presets though. That would be so nice.
Perfect company, but the app needs some work
In all honesty I would rate the app itself 3.5 stars, but this company is amazing and actually cares about not only the consumer above all else, but transparency, quality, customer service, and design. This company doesn’t just sell headphones and earbuds for money, but out of passion for music and audio design. For these reasons I couldn’t possibly want rate this app lower than above 5 stars. I personally own a pair of Heavys h1h and a pair of h1e’s and they were worth more than every penny, so worth it in fact that I have bought half of my family tree of 52/convinced them to buy a pair of Heavys. This company actually knows the most important thing about running a business customer loyalty, I only have nice things to say about this company including how the longest I’ve ever waited for customer support was 45 minutes. All of you at Heavys are doing an amazing job and you all should be proud for your unmatched kindness. But the app could use some work, 1 there’s a lot of small glitches, 2 it’s very lacking/boring and not very customizable, 3 the eq is ok not good not bad but could use more options like different types of eqs like visual, 9 band, etc? And lastly it could really use videos related to Heavys or at least something to watch related to new news about Heavys. Thank you all for the passion put into your hardware and social media, and most of all thank you for making every individual Heavys owner feel seen!
