Session Handling

I’ve been using this app for years, and it’s easily my favourite workout tracker. It’s clean, easy to use, and has everything I need to log my workouts. It’s one of the few fitness apps I’ve never felt the need to replace.

The only issue I’ve noticed is that workout sessions can behave inconsistently. Sometimes, if I switch to another app during a workout, the app ends the session in the background and saves it before I’m finished. Other times, if I accidentally leave a workout open and don’t come back for days, the session is still running when I reopen the app.

I’d love to see more consistent session handling because it would make the experience even better. Other than that, it’s a fantastic app that I highly recommend.

The best, definitely the best fitness tracker

I used this app for many many years.
It’s doing exactly what you are expecting from a fitness tracking app. Tracks your progress.
Shows 1 RM max.
Has pause timer.
Workouts.
All you need.
No cloud login or any Bull.. needed.
Great app.
This one I will really miss on Android

Totally worth it

Okay, it’s not free but it’s not 99$/yr and you get something that really delivers (and more)! I have been using it for many years now and it just keeps getting better. And it is complex without being confusing. You pay once and you will keep using it.

Great App

Have had this for years, great app, intuitive, simple, well laid out, great features and extremely good technical help when I had a problem - 11/10

9 Years of Use

I absolutely adore this workout tracker. I have been using HeavySet for the last 9 years since 2017. It’s so easy & simple to use but not basic at all. It’s incredible for tracking your progress across all exercises, weights, reps, sets & volume. It has everything you need without anything you don’t.

I will never change to another app and will continue using this app until i’m old and grey.

I bought this app (luckily) before it became subscription based when they first launched. However, if I had to pay for this on a monthly basis, I would without hesitation.

Highly, highly recommend.

Best value in the App Store!

I’ve tried over 10 different lifting apps and this is by far the best that you can get out of a free app. I went ahead and paid for the lifetime option which is also the best value compared to everything I’ve tried.

Great app

Great app to create a good routine that breaks up muscle types

Best Gym Tracker on the Planet

Everything I need to do this app has me covered. Very intuitive.

I am a powerlifter using this app since 2018

And I use it for all my exercises, I have all my PRs in it and it helps me a lot in programming.
Highly recommended.

Volume progression graph malfunctioning

The bones of a great app, took a while to get used to but once I did it was straight forward to does almost everything I need.

Just one problem. The progress graph it generates based on my workouts does not work correctly.

For example the values on the axis don’t match the data point values, for example a 8,000kg volume workout is showing above a “10” on the vertical axis and perhaps most frustratingly of all, my workouts for a number of weeks of increasing volume are not showing an increasing trend line, despite when clicking on the data points you can see the volumes are actually correct. I.e workout 1 is 7,000kg and workout 2 is 10,000kg volume yet on the graph workout 2 data point is lower

Pretty much renders the app pretty useless for me. It seemed to glitch out at some point because it didn’t always do this. Anyway regret spending the money on it. I requested support and got no answer.

Nice app with some accessibility issues

I finally found an app I can log my workouts with voiceover. Unfortunatelly it still has accessibility issues, but it's way more useable than others I've tried before.

Difficult to use

Poor interface. Definitely not worth $20. Immediate delete.

Awesome

I’ve been using this app for years now, simple to use and very effective. Unlike other apps that try to do everything, this is just a log for your workouts.

Outdated

App hasn’t had an update in over two years and now does not function as it used to. This app used to be the best thing but now keeps closing, resetting and restarting in the middle of a workout. I’ve contacted the developer several times with zero response or feedback.

At this point, I wouldn’t recommend paying for the upgrade.

Amazing

Amazing app love it. It would be even better if there is a version available for my Apple Watch.

Long term user loving it

I love this app. Does everything I need it to.

Best workout app

For the ultimate trainer: Allows for custom workout design, easy to use interface and resilient (no crashes). Can’t recommend enough for those who want to track workouts with no thrills/useless bells and whistles.

Great Basic App for Workout Tracking

This app has you covered if you are looking for an economical and effective tool to track your workout progress. Ditch monthly costs.

Great app

Wish they had a way to track planks and timed body weight exercises

Great app…but…

Would be nice if this is available in the iPad as well.
