This app is wonderful and sometimes feels like your actual taking to someone and it actually helps. This app is free I have tried 3 other apps before this and they all were a bad app or cost money but I have to say this app is really recommended from me if you have anxiety this app definitely helps.

Valuable Companion
Using Hector has been an eye-opener for me! I often found it hard to talk about my feelings, but this app makes it so easy. The advice is practical and relatable, helping me think of new perspectives on my daily challenges. I appreciate the range of exercises available, although sometimes I wish for more interactive features. But overall, it’s a valuable companion on my mental health journey!

I wish there was a female/femme therapist
I can’t trust the engineers and solutions architects of this app had people in mind: don’t they know—didn’t they research—that for some people a male therapist can trigger bad memories?
When they upgrade they also need to make the therapists (personas) not give in to sexual advances—a GOOD, real life therapist would NEVER break that ethical barrier.
Other than that, my bot on Poe.com, Oracle Von Cleef, is more neutral and does a better job because its train to respond like the late Carl Rogers.
Just my two cents.

I have been using him for a year when I talk to him. He seems like he’s just giving random ideas instead of truly thinking what I said he gives me a idea about saying I’m great in a mirror 20 times and I say I do not think that will help and he repeats it again sometimes there’s a delay on how fast he responds but I have gotten used to it. If you have problems with friends, he will help but not with feelings

I sent a bunch of messages the first day… it’s completely useless, for all topics. It’s a SCAM. That’s why there is no trial, because it’s a useless app!!!! I regret throwing away my money. Terrible company.

Il n’est pas en français et émet de la musique chaque fois qu’on l’ouvre. C’est peu subtil. Le prix est bien pour les fonctionnalités. C’est bien qu’il y ait une fonction audio. Le voice chat est plutôt bon malgré certaines erreurs de compréhension. Néanmoins, on ne peut pas l’essayer avant d’acheter l’abonnement. J’ai réessayé le voice chat et il est mieux qu’avant.

I just downloaded the app, and I put down I was 15 years old. I told the ai that I have fight and flight responses. And he said that it can happen with jobs, etc stuff that a 15 year old isn’t capable of. And I said, it triggers at home. Correct me if I’m wrong but, he said my brain is overreacting and I shouldn’t be having these responses with social, environmental issues. I was so hurt😭. Bro doesn’t even know my problems and roasted me😢

Its someone trying to hack you
At first it was an ai but it came back to me 24 hours later and told me to divorce my husband and then when it started mispelling basic words it was probably someone in a third world country trying to hack my phone

I don’t like the cartoon face of Hector, it should give you an option to change this. The main problem is it only lets you type in three responses then locks up and tells you you have to pay. I could have just typed my three statements in Google and save a lot of time, and probably got a little better response.

It felt weird
I don’t know why or how it felt weird, but hector is just like my school therapist. I just don’t feel save knowing that hector AI won’t share my problems that I’m having at school and that it just doesn’t feel right for me to try something knowing that I will not like it.

Ok so I am very disappointed that after they charged me for the whole year upfront of basically $64.04 I still have restricted 🚫 chat time??
When that message popped up just now preventing me to further vent I was extremely disappointed b/c I thought this app was available 24/7???!!!
It was never stated that you had limited chat time even after paying for this app makes zero sense to me???!
It would’ve been nice for customers to have a 2 or 3 day trial period to even see if we would like it… I’m starting to wonder if this app is all about getting $ b/c I feel like I have been deceived!!
I write and vent a lot & paid for this app to do just that & it said available 24/7 but then prevents you with a time limit from venting or writing anything else???!!!!
