On supported iPhones and iPads with iOS 27 and Apple Intelligence, you can now choose Apple Private Cloud Compute to power Hedy's AI features. Pick it under Settings → Speech & AI → AI Processing, alongside Cloud AI, Local AI or Off. - Cleaned-up transcripts keep your speakers. Who said what, with the names you assigned, now survives cleanup, and you can keep using Hedy while it runs in the background. - Speech that fits your language. Hedy suggests the best speech model for your meeting language, and languages the Nemotron engine does not cover use Whisper instead. Plus: a Test on this device button for Local AI, and speaker names in highlights from a live session. Be the brightest person in the room!

Amazing tool

This app saves my meetings. I can focus on the meeting and get the notes and todo‘s in the end. Also it supports me with targeted questions and input during the meeting.

Best transcription app out there - local processing stands out

I use Hedy more than 15 months now, and I'm still impressed. Local processing is best for data security - most other apps do not offer this, especially not on an iPhone. The team develops new features very fast and they always have an open ear for feature requests. My fullest recommendation, and shout-out to Julian from Marc. ;-)

Great tool for seminars

Hedy has become my go-to for recording and transcribing meetings. It performs great in person, and it's been a lifesaver on Zoom calls where the host won't allow a recording bot to join — it still captures everything reliably. What really sets it apart for me is the API access: I can pull transcript data straight into my own systems on the backend, which makes it easy to build it into my workflow instead of just living as a standalone app. Highly recommend if you want a transcription tool that's flexible enough to work around meeting restrictions and integrate with your own stack.
