Great tool for seminars

Hedy has become my go-to for recording and transcribing meetings. It performs great in person, and it's been a lifesaver on Zoom calls where the host won't allow a recording bot to join — it still captures everything reliably. What really sets it apart for me is the API access: I can pull transcript data straight into my own systems on the backend, which makes it easy to build it into my workflow instead of just living as a standalone app. Highly recommend if you want a transcription tool that's flexible enough to work around meeting restrictions and integrate with your own stack.

Versatile Tool

Very useful meeting/note tool that lives on multiple formats including mobile, web, computer. All platforms sync and the tool provides useful suggestions and questions during meetings so that you can actually use them in the session versus some of the other tools out there that might wait until after to interact with the transcription/recording.

Great App!

This app is such a lifesaver. They keep improving the product and the transcriptions and suggestions are really good. I wish I had this app years ago. With my job and life projects being able to keep track of so many tasks, take notes and have follow ups, and listen intently in the process is extremely difficult. Having an AI specialist such as Hedy that gives me suggestions on the spot of things to say to contribute to a conversation or discussion is very indispensable.

Best AI Notetaker hands down!

I love this app! I have tried over a dozen paid AI transcriber / notetaker apps. Hedy is by far the best one I’ve used and now the only one I use. Incredible feature set. Rarely misunderstands. Mainly its names that are misspelled, which is easily corrected. As a tool it makes an incredible difference, saving a massive amount of time on follow-ups, with detailed summaries that can be shared, with full transcripts and the option to save session audio. You can set your own topics, pick from a drop down of meeting types, create saved custom Context with detailed AI prompts with instructions for capturing different meeting types. It’s a daily tool that delivers impressive ongoing value. And the features just keep improving. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

Helps Me Stay Present and Organized

Hedy has quickly become one of the most useful apps on my phone. I use it for business meetings, school meetings, medical appointments, and planning conversations, and it consistently helps me capture details I would otherwise miss.

The meeting summaries, action items, and searchable notes save me an incredible amount of time. As someone who juggles work, family, and a lot of moving pieces, having a reliable record of conversations helps me stay organized and follow through on important tasks.

I’ve especially appreciated using it during doctor appointments and complex planning meetings, where it’s easy to forget recommendations, next steps, or key details. Hedy helps me be more present in the conversation because I know I don’t have to worry about taking perfect notes.

The best AI meeting & notes tool, hands-down.

Hedy’s been solid from day-1 and has continued to get incrementally better with each update. The instant, active meeting insights, questions to ask, capturing of action items, the summary - all are features I couldn’t do without today. So glad I found it and bought their “lifetime” license.

The one thing I hope they add is the ability for it to join an online meeting like fireflies or other AI-meeting agents instead of me needing to have it running on another device and listening in.

Overall, still 4.75/5 in my book!

So I have started using Hedy, and not only does it send useful, actionable data from a recording of a meeting, it prompts you with suggestions along the way. It also sends an email summary after the meeting that separates the small talk from the must-do lists that come up. Very impressive, and their service desk is great too. Bravo.

I’m amazed Hedy actually doesn’t already have thousands of reviews! I’m absolutely obsessed with this app - I use it for everything and love how responsive the support and development team are in implementing great new features all the time!

This is the only AI Notetaker I’ve used that can give me real time advice during my meetings AND summarize notes as they happen - and action items! I feel like I’m gatekeeping one of the best tech secrets of all time with this. You definitely need this tool in your arsenal!

The AI Summary to beat ALL Summary Apps

I have several AI tools and this is the BEST for recording meetings and summarizing them afterwards. The summaries are emailed immediately and are highly accurate. Plus you can run searches and queries against the recordings WHILE they are being made or afterwards, which is truly unique and useful.

I would like to see the ability to GROUP recordings together and generate a global summary across the group as well as run searches against the group. This would be very useful to students who record all their lectures across an entire semester or business people attending a conference all day with several speakers or a multi-day conference. This additional feature would completely set Hedy apart from the other summary apps.

I also prefer how Plaud automatically titles each recording and would like to see that in addition to the date and time listed that Hedy currently provides. Having name / recording title would make finding old recordings MUCH easier without having to re-title every recording.

I never meet without Hedy

I use Hedy every day to subscribe my meetings. All meetings in one place - I do not need to remember whether it was a Zoom call or Teams session. You can customise and brief Hedy so it coaches you during the meeting. It even remembers open issues from last time. Hedy is private if I need, even GDPR compliant. And it constantly develops. For me as a consultant as essential as Claude.
