Widget No Longer Works.
The widget suddenly stopped working so the ‘at a glance’ view is broken. The app is updated to the most recent version but it’s worthless to me now. Unfortunate as I really liked it when it worked. If the app gets updated and this error is fixed I’ll update this.

Love this app
I really like the gorgeous, clean design, and it’s super helpful for pinpointing exactly when the golden and blue hours are going to happen, no matter where I am. It makes planning my outdoor shots simple.

I’ve been a fan of this app for 8 years or so. For some reason, I am getting a blank screen when I open it today. Putting up this review, hoping to get the attention of someone who can fix that.

Prima andava bene, ora dopo il superfluo l’aggiornamento estetico è inutilizzabile. Oltre a essere diventata lentissima, adesso se si clicca sulla lente nella modalità mappa, non funziona più la ricerca. Inoltre le icone delle funzioni prima erano subito chiare con le fotografie che mostravano la loro funzione, ora invece a messo dei quadrati colorati senza senso. Non si capisce più niente. 👎👎👎👎👎

Update was not improvment
Been using Helios for several years with my photography. I mostly used the map to check sun position. Prior to the update, there were cones that showed the angle of the sun and moon and those cones went to the center of the circle. Those disappeared in the update from a few months back.
It may seem like a minor gripe, but I feel the update made the app less user friendly.

I am a professional portrait photographer and this app has helped me plan my photoshoots SO much. Seriously. I use it all the time during my photography season because the sun obviously changes so much during the year. I think I remember paying a cheap amount for this app a few years ago but it was totally worth it. Thankful!

When the app did an update I tried to open it but it won’t let me go past the update notification page. It’s just stock and I can’t swipe past it so the app is useless right now.

As a amateur photographer i highly recommend this app to anyone getting into photography. And the built in light meter is excellent and comes in handy.
Crap app
Don’t buy this app, it’s garbage. I thought it was a different version of an app I used to have which was extremely robust. But the lack of ability to pick a date, time, and location to get sun and moon arcs and path of travel makes it all but useless. Deleting. Wish I could get my money back. It’s not even worth 99¢.
