Customer service is horrible
I made the horrible mistake of having autopay and the account connected having no funds. According to their own rules and the pop ups on my phone we have a 3 day grace period where they retry the payment within 24 hours. Instead of giving me the 3 day grace period they shut my service off as soon the payment didn’t go through. SAME DAY. They said you have to update your payment which I did and it still did not take the payment. I’m not upset about that but why is my service off especially when you won’t let me pay. This is why people don’t gravitate to these lesser known services. I can’t even get a representative to help. I’ll be looking for new service for this line, my other line and my mom’s line that I convinced her to get. You lost a valuable customer. I’ve been with you since you were giving crypto for mapping out the area. I’m highly disappointed.

I’ve been a user for more than a year and experience service disruption repeatedly that has me pull my hair out.
Helium doesn’t throttle; it completely blocks use of personal wifi. The phone becomes useless. No human customer support. It takes days to resolve issues. Before signing up, have a long conversation with AI about the reasons people LEAVE Helium, and you’ll understand.

Annoying
I have already had this issue once where it saved the wrong card on file or it isn’t the right one. Fine I can get past this, but as soon as the payment doesn’t go through it throttles my internet immediately so I can’t actually solve the issue by myself and make my payment. Then on top of that to change my billing details I have to contact support instead of being able to change the info by myself. At least give me half an hour to actually fix the issue instead of just not giving me warning I don’t even need a whole day just a couple minutes so I can change the details. Genuinely frustrating as soon as my promo finishes up in December I’m switching to mint mobile done dealing with this.

Made us add a credit card for “taxes and fees” on the free plan then turn around and increase the plan to $15 per month. Fraudulent way to make us pay money and get payment information

I want to like it
In theory this service seems like it should be a good idea. The reviews would tell you it is. But their execution, customer service and overall quality of speed is far from desirable. My BIGGEST complaint is absolutely having NO WARNING before my data speed is throttled. I’m throttled so much I can’t even use my phone to pay for more high speed data. That has left me in some very vulnerable situations in rural areas. This is my last month. Ever.

Reliable service, but can’t resolve tech issue
I had three lines with Helium and honestly they all worked great for the most part except for one. I had a tech issue with one for over six months, and I reached out every single month. And every single month, they assured me that it was resolved. Yet every single month one of my family members lines would cut out just a few days before his cycle would end. This made the service unreliable for my family and sadly we had to jump ship.

Great Customer Service
My SIM card got stolen and Customer Service put my account on freeze for me as I requested. We eventually got it all sorted out. Quality people.
Confused but a great app
I love this app it is really nice but the cloud pointa are confusing I have 600 smthn points and I cannot redeam not even a 5 dollar gift card for target.
Spam Calls galore
Got a new number through helium, this may be an isolated case, my number receives about a dozen spam calls/messages a day. Sadly the free plan lasted just around 7 or 8 months for me. Other than that, service worked as expected.
SCAM
It let me Pay for the Plan But wouldn’t let me add to sim .. then app changed email to account and locked me out
Frustrating! With a capital F me
Over $57 in charges for ordering a SIM card I never received and thus access to a service I was never able to verify if it worked as ideally as it feigns to profess… but based on the numerous charges for what I don’t know I would trust this vendor’s billing practices
No More Helium Zero Plan
They ended the free plan suddenly. No reason for me to stay anymore. Bye girl lol.
