Totally dysfunctional app.
Wasted subscription. App simply does not work. Will not accept password.
Got money to waste
If you look at the reviews recent reviews are one star only because that is the lowest. Then look at revision history it shows the great interest Hemmings has in correcting the problem probably because they never review customer problems and they will never contact you about a reported problem. The combination of problems and lack of concern by Hemmings makes this a great place to throw money away

Why just why
After I bought the subscription I realized that I should have read the reviews first because y’all just did a bad job. I really wish there was a “NO STAR REWVIEW”.
Hopeless
Works well to bill, it has always been on time. As long as you don’t want to read it’s great. It will randomly will log you out and tell you your log in is incorrect, and you can waste time hopping for support just don’t expect any. Hemmings does not support and points to Apple who points to Hemmings. In other words the purchaser looses. This reviewer is now a former subscriber.

Stillsucks
I thought these old reviews of one star and how it was no good would’ve been fixed by now, so I signed up foolishly because all I’m getting is a picture of the newest mag with no ability to get into it and read it. I might as well just wait for the magazinerather than play with this foolishly bad Classic Car app. I’m canceling.

Doesn’t work
I’ve lost count of how many times this app has stopped working. No support.

No fuss, no muss. No kicking or screaming. Unlike the Dylan Thomas poem, Hemmings just quietly rolled over and died. It was a sad death - No one came. (To print you HAVE TO rate it.)
Dead again
Like clock work the app has once again block use. Support is non existent, you pay and maybe you will be able to read, I have fought this buggy and unsupported app for the last time. Requested a refund which is not expected as is any reply from “customer support”

They went from great app to who or what is Hemings or Hemingway? Who cares?!
New App
This new App format is useless. I’m out! If there was a rating for “ no stars” this would get it!
The app is dead - unsupported
As the entire world goes digital, Hemmings seems to have decided to go backwards. The app is a dead end. Asks you to allow them to send you updates and there is nothing to the app - a single picture of an old car, and that’s it - nothing to click. It’s just dead.
Used to be a Great App
Won’t open, no longer works. I expect a whole lot more from Hemmings (like getting what I paid for).
I love the magazine, but it doesn’t work
I have an active subscription but can not download issues. Apple won’t refund, they just send me to Hemmings. Hemmings only answered one of my emails. They told me to click the cash button and to contact Apple if I wasn’t happy and wanted a refund. There isn’t a cash button but my emails saying so were ignored. Catch 22 with the companies pointing the fingers at each other.
I’m a long time customer and very disappointed in the almost total lack of support from Hemmings. This is a great magazine but I don’t recommend paying to not be able to read it :(

Please Update
This app needs an update to continue to work on future versions of IOS. All Hemmings apps NEED TO BE UPDATED!
Classic Car sub app need updating
Apple is sending alerts that this app should be updated in order to keep working.
Slowness in loading is frustrating; Top Gear, Consumer Reports load fast, so you can start reading much sooner.

I bought an issue in this app and got 6 pages...I want my $4 back!

If you are a subscriber to Hemmings Classic Car magazine and you opt for the digital subscription this app is awesome.
I can download complete issues, zoom in the articles and photos and enjoy my editions like never before.
Not sure why others have difficulties but it works on my iPad2 and iPad4. The resolution is outstanding.
