Capitalist romance app where you’ll get pimped out as a unicorn.
You’ll have hundreds of “likes” and they will only show you 5 people every 24 hours. 4/5 of those people will fall way outside your preferences: big age gaps, super far distances, looking for different things, fake/outdated profiles and SO MANY STRAIGHT COUPLES. You’ll come across one normal person about once every other month. The awful matching system and lack of ability to talk to the people who have actually liked you is sad and disappointing. It’s an app where straight people can prey on younger queer women because it makes them think that is all that is available to them in the dating pool… unless you pay them more than minimum wage. Big L for the queer community.

App is trash
The app is supposed to be for gay women but there’s more men on the app then women. The app is charging for subscriptions but there’s no confirmation of linking or getting to know anyone due to it being a man behind the profile. It isn’t worth spending money for a subscription for.
Found my forever
I usually never write reviews, but I feel like this deserves one. I’ve tried some dating apps like Tinder and Hinge, but all were too complicated. This app really is easy to use and I love the sticker options and question prompts. In May, I found my now girlfriend of 3 months, and things have been going really smoothly. I’m very happy to have met her through this app, I haven’t felt a love such as this one. Forget what everyone says about dating app relationships, they do work out when they are the right people… Thank you for helping me find my forever.

Needs better verification
Found amazing people… that I thought were real. There’s too much catfishing, scamming, “sugar mama’s”, looking for thirds.
Like y’all really need to have better verification for the security and safety of your users. Verification needs to be a requirement. Not an option. People steal others pictures from random places and make profiles pretending to be them. Good thing I know how to look for these things but this is happening way too often and it’s really pissing me off. Face recognition should be required so should a social media account link that is also verified. I’m on Raya and they have extensive verifications to even be on there.
