They advertised on OkCupid, which I saw, that ad brought a ton of straight guys to this little lesbian bar, if you will. Now it’s overrun with straight guys harassing us. In the last week or so, way more straight guys liked me than women, extremely unusual. Or used to be! They trashed our space. It was such a nice experience. But it’s over now. But Match Group is bigoted af anyway. They ruined dating. NEVER GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. They don’t deserve it

Can’t filter by non-monogamous without paying
The inability to filter by non-monogamous makes the basic version essentially unusable for polyamorous people.

almost no point of the app if you don’t pay for platinum and platinum is 30 DOLLARS A MONTH! that’s insane. you can have a ton of likes on your profile and it only lets you see like one a day… so you basically get to have like no conversations even if ur profile is getting matches. sad to see a dating app meant for women and queer ppl and it being such a HUGE money sucking plot:(

App is very buggy. Spent money on a boost and no one is seeing my profile. I close the app and it’s opening again on its own. Waste of money

i tried to make an account a few months ago and immediately got my account suspended before i even made a profile/spoke to anyone. when i emailed it was automatic due to “funky business” on my account and i needed to read the community guidelines (like, what? i haven’t even made an account yet?) and the only way to get my account unlocked was to send in full face scans along with full id/passport over email. how does that not sound like a scam when i’ve never even used to app?
anyway, i asked them to delete my account and all my information as i don’t trust the app at all and was assured they would. three months later im still painfully single and was willing to try again with Her, i go to make an account again and lo and behold they hadn’t deleted any of my data as they said they would and emailing again they said again it was my fault for how i practiced (still never even made a profile lol).
tldr:
staff lie via emails and ask for personal identifying information. staff pass the blame to you before you can even make a profile. app keeps your private information even when they tell you they’ve deleted it

I thought this was supposed to be for women??
This app has gone downhill immensely over the years. It has decent features in concept, but politics ruined it because now you have to slog through a ton of MEN’s profiles (which are usually pretty perverted I notice, or blatantly lying by calling themselves actual lesbians, or both) so it’s harder to find actual women. I actually feel bad for the creator. It used to be an awesome place to meet other women even if it was just to have a running buddy or something.

I wish we could search users
Once you initially message, someone, you can’t go on their profile and start a message thread afterwards. You have to search through your archive to find them as there is no search bar on the message as well.. As a premium user, it is kind of an inconvenience because you can look at all of the likes, but you can’t message directly! Still a great app just wish this one bug was fixed

Is there a zero star i can check?
Horrible app for emotionally available people or for good looking healthy people who are not looking for hookups only or threesomes or obese men pretending to be women- also can they clean up the scam phishing accounts who are somewhere in asia or russia and want to take you off app and on whatsapp only so they can ask you for money.

Not worth your time
Pretty sure a large chunk of the user base is scam bots and inactive accounts. Also they lock the ability to see who liked you behind a paywall, making it difficult to actually connect with anyone.
I guess I’ll update my review if anything changes, but I’m probably gonna try something else.

I have started a few conversations, but the majority of the people who like my profile are middle-aged men who want hookups, which is not what this app is supposedly meant for.

This app is absolutely trash. Kept freezing my account with nothing as evidence to show me what I did “ wrong “. I don’t know, I think the app is a joke and highly DO NOT recommend it.
Glitchy and users will punish you
Users who submit a complaint that freezes your account should maybe looked closer at. Like if they liked your profile sent you a flower and a note and weirdly found you on instagram when you didn’t match. Then shortly after your account is frozen for violating community standards 🤔

Sick of the standard hot or not style of swiping. The app interface is too sensitive, I’ve accidentally swiped no on too many people that I thought were cute and there is no way to reverse those accidents without paying way too much money (as in, get your pricing structure under control!). Being alone forever is better than paying you crooks to actually have a good chance to match with someone I might get along with. Also, the amount of cis gender guys on this app is getting out of hand. Are there literally no spaces where women can be safe from them? Smh

Unforced Errors beyond what I expect
Anyone who lived through OKCupid knows things suck now. Her sucks the same way; its monetization is aggressive and constantly in your face. The app is full of dark patterns, including clicking on notifications (esp likes) that then take you to the "buy premium" screen instead of who liked you. But the app is also hot garbage. I've had piles of "back" actions lead to different states of the same chat. Chat's don't update while you're looking at them, so new messages can hide from you. It's just full of expectation violations beyond the monetization needs, and doesn't have to be.

Absolutely ridiculous app, please do not waste your time
While I was scrolling through Tinder, I got a sudden notification to make a HER account. This notification allowed me to import all of my photos from my Tinder profile. So I made the account, and added all of my extra information. I get to the homepage and I get the common apple pop-ups such as enabling notifications, I select no. Then both pop ups for app asks you for tracking permission and location appear at the same time. I click “Ask app not to track” for the info and all of a sudden I am told that my account is suspended. I have no clue why.
I reached out to support and submitted a photo of me, holding up today’s date to prove that I am a person. So my account gets enabled and once I get back into my account, I find that my photos from Tinder are GONE and I have to start over as if I never made the account. Again, I get the two pop-ups at the same time , and I click “ask app not to track” and I get locked out of my account again.
Personally, I come from a cybersecurity background, and I have no clue as to why this is happening. I am on my home Wi-Fi and I do not use a VPN. In addition, I am on a genuine, unmodified device. But is what most concerning is the fact that I probably have to enable tracking on a dating app. I never had to do this on other dating apps.
In the end, I’ve never dealt with such a headache of a dating app before. Please do not waste your time making an account as you will end up being completely frustrated.

Literally app is trash but I logged back into it to find that it was on hold ..I mean there’s nothing on the app anyway

They only care about the money, features that should be free are an extortionate price. It’s frustrating and uncomfortable because i’ve set my preferences to women, not transgender, just women and i’m still getting them and men, it feels extremely odd considering i’m trying to form my algorithm for my preferences i’m still being shown people i have no interest in or it’s repeats and i have over 20 likes and can’t see any without having to pay and the only like i was able to see recently was a trans woman… this app is just gross

The app isn’t too bad but there are way too many men on there …considering it is Leabian dating … who is actually keeping an eye on these profiles? Doesn’t feel like the safe space for lesbians I thought it would be!
