Chat doesn’t work with a native Hermes install
Hermex worked great when Hermes was in a Docker. I now run Hermes self-hosted, not through the Docker web UI. Hermex can't chat against that setup — it needs the old web UI's session API, and a native install doesn't expose it. Everything else (session browsing) works fine; chat just never connects.
I tried to work around it by standing up the Docker web UI alongside my native install so Hermex would have the API it wanted. That corrupted my session database — not once, but repeatedly, because the two were writing to the same session file at the same time. I eventually had to lock that path down entirely and go back to a browser-based workaround instead of the app.
Is there a supported way to point Hermex at a native Hermes backend, or a plan to add one? I'd like to use the actual app again — I just can't risk the database corruption to do it.

Stabil und Gut
Solide, stabile, performante Umgebung für Hermes. vor allem gegenüber conduit. Allerdings vermisse ich schmerzlich die Text-to-Speech-Funktionalität Und daran gekoppelt den Konversationsmodus. Dann gibt es volle fünf Sterne hier. Danke für die tolle Arbeit.

Small suggestion to fix the issue that modal auto dismiss when keyboard opens. When I try to checkout a new branch,upon modal popup to input branch name then it auto dismiss when keyboard up hence I cannot type branch name as modal was gone.

First, I thank you for not doing any kind of an app purchases!! I don't mind paying a one time fee, but in app purchases I just keep on scrolling.
Are there any plans to integrate voice to voice where we can speak to it and interrupt it when it's speaking? But still have it plugged into our home lab services like whisper STT and TTS like Kokoro or something?

Does everything you need except…
I’ve been looking for an app like this for ages but… paywall after paywall, you’ve ran out of free credits, top up to send this message… not with this one it’s fully free and works like a charm there is just a few flaws that are very minor. for example You can only copy the agents certain reply’s/blocks, there is no “copy all” button at the bottom of reply you have to manually copy every section.
Also the “bots/profiles” are there which is good but there is no “group chat” integration like the desktop app so you can’t have multiple agents in 1 thread again very minor I hope to see all these in the next update

Great app, needs work
Very good app but struggles on my 14 pro when working in a long thread. Phone heats up and the GUI crashes. Too much text eating up memory.

Great app, needs a feature
I love the UI and I love not using a 3rd party service, as well as having the ability to share multimedia from a TUI style interface is pretty sweet. I do wish though that there was a way to get a push notification for approvals, I often miss them because I never knew the agent was waiting on a response from me

Excellent app - mirrors hermes perfectly
Such a well thought out and written app - it picks up all the essential features and settings of hermes and presents them in a really intuitive way. Highly recommend using this above any other mobile comms with hermes
Yet another app u need to install a backdoor with
This looks promising, it wasn't an app masquerading as an inference provider. Instead, you install thier backdoor software to enable remote communications. I'm not installing a backdoor for any app

Overall I liked it, but there are some outright fatal flaws that make it hard to use:
- As soon as you switch to another app, even for 5 seconds, Hermex goes offline. Reconnecting takes time, which is very annoying.
- Losing focus from the prompt input clears it. Several times I wrote prompts 10 lines long, then I needed some info from the browser, came back — and the chat input is empty! This just infuriates me!
- I'd really love to have the markdown editor from the Files projects. WebUI allows this, but on iOS you either need a separate app and a Shelfish + Tailscale + Markdown Editor setup, or you have to go back to the webui in the browser.
- It's impossible to send a file from an agent to the chat, view it, edit it (and save it).
- Selecting and copying text directly from the chat window. Right now copying opens a separate window.
I'm ready to pay money for these features!
