About

Hesya is a calm companion for focus — not a blocker, not a tracker, not a streak app. You name what deserves your attention, work for a while, and Hesya quietly notices if you drift — offering a gentle way back, never a lecture. When a session ends, you have a moment to reflect. That's it. How it works • Set an intent for a focus session — in your own words. • Work. Hesya stays out of the way. • If your attention wanders, a soft cue returns your own words to you. Stay with it, take a short breath, or carry on. • When you finish, mark how it went — a mood and a note if you want one. Never a score. What Hesya will never do • No streaks, badges, or points. • No usage dashboards or guilt. • No urgency, no nagging. Silence is a valid outcome. Private by design Your intentions, notes, and reflections stay on your device. Hesya uses Screen Time only to notice when an app you've chosen crosses a time threshold during a session you started — that signal never leaves your device. There are no accounts and no ads. Made to be needed less.

Your record is yours to remove. A session can be deleted from the Journal on its own, and Settings can erase the whole history at once. Both take effect immediately and cannot be undone. Nothing left the device before, and nothing leaves it now. Sessions survive being interrupted. When iOS reclaims memory mid-session, or a session runs overnight, the time Hesya can account for is recorded rather than lost. One honest limit: past roughly eight hours, only the waking portion can be credited, because nothing on the device is awake to witness the rest. Longer blocks. The optional session length now runs to six hours in 15-minute steps, and the picker scrolls rather than listing a fixed few. A quieter surface. The app has been redrawn against its design system — cards, chrome, the breath, the Journal, the reflection pond. Type and spacing are more consistent, and several places where text sat too close in tone to the ground behind it now read clearly. Under the surface. Reflections are tied to their session properly, so deleting one takes its reflection with it. The note that greets you after a break is triggered by what actually happened last time.
