The app is an absolute nightmare.
We bought two sets for our kid, but the app is completely useless. You can’t even activate an account, let alone navigate it properly. It’s super glitchy, totally broken, and utterly frustrating. The physical set might be fine, but the app ruins the entire experience.

Waste of time and money
Got a box as a gift. The instructions are not clear. Cant figure out where in the app to enter the code so we can get instructions on how to build the characters. And these subscription prices are outrageous. Who would pay for that? Don’t waste your money.

App is hard to use
Really hard to use the app. Was given the clay as a present and couldn’t figure out how to get the instructions off the app. The kids have just played and made it themselves. Please put paper instructions in or make it more accessible on YouTube.

This helps a lot with the steps and shows each step slowly and shows what color to use! This app is so helpful and sometimes I had to buy some… and good thing some are free! This is a helpful and amazing app that I can use while using clay!! ❤️❤️

Very poor customer service and cheated out of purchased products
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Hey Clay.
I purchased the app in good faith, but I have since been locked out of content that I paid for. Despite sending numerous emails and trying multiple ways to contact customer support, I have received no response whatsoever.
As a paying customer, I feel completely let down and cheated. It is unacceptable to sell access to an app and then leave customers without support when that access is lost. The lack of communication has been just as frustrating as being locked out of my purchase.
I would simply like my access to be reinstated or for someone to respond and resolve the issue. Until then, I cannot recommend Hey Clay based on my experience with their customer service and post-purchase support.

Non functioning app and no tech support
The creations are awesome. We paid for the subscription but the sound wasn’t working. Then some of the selections wouldn’t open and now none will. I tried restarting my
Phone, deleting and re-downloading the app, made sure my software is up to date, nothing worked. I have a newer model iPhone. Tried sending a help request in app and when I hit submit it said “error occurred” so what am I paying for exactly?

Doesn’t work.
When I click on any of the sets nothing happens. I cannot go any further in the app to get the instructions for the project.
App doesn’t even work
Subscribed to unlock all characters but none of them work. Don’t subscribe. It’s a waste of time and money. Your kid will be very frustrated trying to tap on each character and seeing the app do nothing. Getting a refund.

I love the HEY CLAY brand and app because it’s so fun to make in the clay is so easy to work with and the app shows you simple instructions. Usually the other clay kits just give you a paper instruction, but this one has a step-by-step detail, detailed instruction of how to make your creation. I have the minion one and I love it and I am going to get another one once I make them all because I love the app and the brand and the clay.. the tools with the clay kit, make it so much easier to make your creation. I definitely recommend to get this and it’s so fun to make anytime and anywhere!!!!

absolutely trash support team. told them my code never worked and they will tell you to enter/scan the code, if they even respond at all. won’t issue a new code. avoid at all costs.

so like I got like a lot of dry clay in my set and I don't know why but like and now like I'm at the bare minimum of actually mixing colors that I can't get so like did they give me duplicates for a reason because like all of them are basically dry and bro I spent money on this thing and bro I regret it but it's so fun making clay though!
