Unreliable email program. Reliable email sending needs to be fixed, why would they be draft

So stupid, same problem hasn’t been updated yet. Come on now, why do all my emails go to draft?.

HEY Email needs to improve its sending reliability. I have experienced emails that appear to send successfully, but other times they unexpectedly end up in the Drafts folder instead of being delivered.

An email app must be dependable. Users should not have to constantly check Drafts to confirm whether an important message was actually sent. This creates uncertainty and can cause missed communications.

Please investigate this issue, improve the send process, and provide better error notifications when an email fails to send.

Love this email.

I haven’t been this excited to use an email app since email came into existence. I love that I get to choose where emails go when they come in - I think my Imbox will be less cluttered overall except that I really like to tag things for later or “set aside” so I can see that turning into a parking lot of disaster for me…at least I can easily locate things I wanted to look at for some reason. Will I have to pay for it? Yes. I’m also okay with that because it will be money well spent! Glad I stumbled on this when trying to find a new platform to replace Gmail. Also stoked that I can forward other inboxes instead of filling loading all of the garbage. My hotmail has over 200k unread emails. Who can even deal with that?!?

$99 a year? A joke?

$99 a year? Really? For an email app?

Good idea, poor client, not for serious use

This is a great idea and keeps my email inbox trim but the web based gui is buggy, slow and makes for a poor user experience. It’s just not built for serious email use. Latest issue is saving everything sent also as a draft - leaving me unsure if it’s been sent. Months later still not fixed. Other issues, saving files end up with long unreadable file names. Emails that just don’t send. Super slow access. Been hoping for years for a proper app, but no such luck. I may move on…

Fits My Brain, Runs My Life

Won’t be for everyone, but it works exactly how I do and I couldn’t live without it now — I’ve even got the t-shirt!

NOT SENDING

Email is not sending, and goes straight to Drafts instead now.

Useless

No way to even make an email

Lost drafts, no offline support

Update 2025- 3 years with this app no fix on this bug. I am looking to move to another email.

The app loses all my drafts. It knows I have written one but upon pulling it up, it's always gone. Subtracting three stars for this basic feature being so full of bugs.

There's also no offline support. You can't read emails, mark emails as read, or pretty much anything unless you have a strong WiFi connection.

Do not trust and do not use

One of the worst email products to come out since Google circles. The search functionality is impossible to use, and the calendar doesn’t even import the iCal file correctly from anyone.

On top of that, they will lose your email and blame you for it. So, don’t trust this company or its mail app. Save money, folks.

Button copy changes

Recently, the button copy for filtering out emails from unknown senders has been changed to feature a curse word on the iPhone app. This is unprofessional and not acceptable.

Terrible app

All the promised features function poorly, password recovery is faulty, my one time passcodes failed, the app hung and refused to load for a long time

Different, in a good way

I’ve been using Hey across multiple accounts for about 3 years. It’s definitely a love it or hate it kind of app. For me, I love it. It’s a simple, elegant application, yet powerful if you accept it for what it is and use it as intended by the design team. One important aspect people may not consider, but is very valuable to me, is that customer service is responsive in a timely manner and they work with the customer to get questions answered. Good luck getting that from big tech. Anyway, you have a 30 day free trial to see if you love it or hate it. So give it a try.

Service is great. Apps are awful.

The actual email service itself is great and has lots of innovative ideas. Unfortunately all of the apps are buggy web wrappers and really let it down as a whole. Working, native apps should be a given for such a premium product.

Completely useless

Very strange app - looks more like someone's stupid joke

My dude, this is voluntary. You should not have changed your email anyway. You can send and receive via Gmail or Outlook addresses. We use Hey because we prefer the method. Not because we want Gmail. We even pay for it! Willingly!
