Must have APP
This is a must have app and tag for your pet. The price is perfect. No long subscription fees to pay. I must have for all pet owners.

AirTag doesn’t work
Unfortunately it’s a waste of money. The tag assumes where my cellphone is not my dog . I’ve already contacted customer support and they gave me no attention at all.

Significant and Well Hidden Subscription Cost
The app looks helpful and user friendly. A finder who scans the tag gets instant contact information for the owner of the lost pet, and a bunch of other helpful information about the pet.
Unfortunately, there are significant hidden costs for the pet’s owner to obtain the same instant functionality! To be notified by text or email when someone scans the lost pet’s tag requires an annual subscription that is at least $100 per year! There is very little functionality for the owner without an annual subscription. The well hidden costs of this app are not apparent until near the end of the sign-up process.
Buyer beware of the well hidden significant annual subscription cost required to use the app! I deleted the app immediately due to lack of transparency by the developer!

They get you to buy the tag, wait forever to receive it, and leave out how awful their app is and how you’ll have to pay a subscription. Don’t waste your time, put your phone number on your dog’s tag. Some things don’t need to be apps.

Not free!! Argh!
I’m upset that the description was not clear this would cost $40 a year!!! I paid for the tag itself and expected no other charges! The app is free but asked me to pay $19.99 for half a year!!! However it let me input all of my pet’s information! Now what? I’ll be hounded to pay $40 a year!? I already pay monthly for pet insurance to cover him for any accident or illness. I was trying to be a responsible pet owner by getting him a tag! So if he leaves our yard and someone scans the code nothing will happen since I’m not paying $40? Insanity! You preach pet safety but mislead people! No way should it cost anything or be nothing more than some nominal cost and $40 is not nominal. I believe in caring for my pet with regular vet visits and quality food. An expensive pet tag? Not on my radar.

It works but…
I've had some tags for my dog and cat, and it's a great idea that works if they get lost, but the app is super ad-heavy to sign up for HeyBuddy+, and it's a tad annoying. Every time you cue up the app, you're hounded with a pop-up to sign up/subscribe. The service isn't worth the subscription, in my opinion. Stick to a sign-up option in the settings in the upper right/left-hand corner.

Thankfully I have not really needed it but as soon as it is scanned you get notified. This will be the only tag I buy for any future pets.
Lost tag-recovered
My dog lost the hey buddy tag and someone scanned it and texted me. Luckily it wasn’t the dog that got lost but the app and process works. 😆 success!
Money for service
I was unaware, but should’ve known that there was going to be a fee to make this tag work. Although it’s only five dollars a month, there should’ve been mentioned about it?
Great app and customer service
We’ve had these tags for a few months and love them. Setting up the profiles were very straightforward and simple. I did have an issue getting the heybuddy+ to activate, but the customer service was fast, friendly, and resolved the issue quickly. We have 5 dogs and were able to link accounts so we both have access to alerts if a scan is ever needed. Great product and would definitely recommend!

Great for protecting your Pet!
This is a truly remarkable service at a minimal fee. You know exactly where your baby is when someone scans the tag. I hope they are in business forever because I will always have one.
Straightforward
I like the information you can use in the event your pet gets away. I like how you can make the lost signs, hopefully you’ll never need to.

Overtly Pushing Extra
Great tags, but the features that come with a QR dog tag that should be basic, are only for paying a subscription fee which wasn’t clearly stated when buying the tags. WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS HERE BEFORE PURCHASING!
