Easily the worse app
So bad ive closed the bank account that uses this app as it just fails at every stage. Either auto or manual registration. There was absolutely no testing of this app by the banks procurement team as this would of been thrown at the first stage

This has to be the least user friendly app I have ever downloaded! Please improve the UX
Awful app
One of the most convoluted systems I’ve ever had the displeasure of using. You should not have to use this the first time you log into a new, online banking account when you already have a plethora of IDs and numbers to contend with. I wonder if anybody from the Co-op bank has ever used it themselves? It’s a terrible user experience.

Useless
Cannot access my account, and the App just keeps going round in circles asking for the same Customer ID, but then nothing happens - so, so frustrated with this app - it's useless!!
Hopeless The APPROVE & DECLINE don't work
I am using 2 factor authentication on many of my online financial activities without any problems. 2FAS is my favourite as it easily links to Windows laptop. Also have google authenticator and Duo mobile.
So I was not expecting trouble using this HID app. Oh no. My online CAF Bank in uk says I need to authenticate the transaction by tapping Approve or Decline in the app. Yes the app popped up with the correct screen but tap as often as I like and neither button responded. In fact I was locked on this screen of the app. Had to force close to get out. Simple it is not. Why not just work like all the other authentication apps I have and display a code.
I give up.
UPDATE: it has a rather unusual user interface and you don't TAP the buttons as my bank's instructions clearly state BUT have to swipe them left and right off the screen. Please follow the norm on iPhone and accept a tap on a button. Swiping is reserved for selecting options on a particular item of a list e.g. iOS email Flag or delete.

Awful app, awful system. Call charges very high to get it fixed by calling them every time I have to use it. On hold right now being charged 65p per minute and I’m being told it will be 10 minutes before the very busy people can get to answering my call.
Terrible App
Trying to access online banking through this app is nye on impossible. It generated pass codes that the bank say are incoreect!
Very poorly designed app
The design of this app is very inconvenient for users and the tokens doesnt refresh even after i relaunch the app! Even a high school student can design an app better than this

We understand the frustration. The token behavior you’re seeing is due to your service provider using time-based OTP. The Secure Codes (OTP) will refresh only after the configured interval (typically 30 seconds) and will not change simply by relaunching the app.
Minus 5 stars. Just doesn’t work properly.
I was required to download this as part of opening a new Co-op business account.
Generated a couple of codes, both of which are rejected by the Co-op business account

24 hours later and having generated a dozen different codes I am still finding that none of them works. Although this app offers copying the code to the clipboard,
the Cooperative Business app doesn’t allow pasting the token code, and furthermore you can’t see what you’ve typed.
Less use than a chocolate teapot!

I really don’t understand how this app has such awful reviews. We’ve just switched our business account to Co-op and everything works brilliantly.
The app generates a OTP which is used to log-in and works just fine. Nothing unlike most other business accounts which demand the use of physical card readers.

Was considering using this app until I saw the reviews
My experience of coop business bank over 4 years has been ‘just about bare-able’ albeit irritating at times.
They asked me to download and use this HID Approve app instead of the physical token I have.
But reading the reviews I simply can’t risk making a poor service into a worse one.
So… I’m out .

Shouldn’t exist. Also, bad.
This app doesn’t need to exist. Why would any organisation (looking at you, Coop Bank) choose to use this rather than the more common Authenticator apps, which everyone already has one of? I don’t want to have another app just to let me into an online service.
Aside from the fact it shouldn’t exist, it also really isn’t very well implemented.

Useless app
Bank says put in 4 digit code but app wants 8 digits
Absolutely horrible
This and Voalte are the worst healthcare apps I’ve used so far, and l’ve used some real stinkers. It took me a month to jump through all the hoops to set this up, vs. VIP access which took me 5 minutes. Shockingly bad.
