Hikez is the hiking journal for walkers, trekkers and climbers: record every outing, relive it, and share it if you want to.
RECORD YOUR HIKES
Built-in live GPS: distance, elevation gain, duration, altitude, speed. Your numbers in large type while you walk, and recording carries on with the screen off. A backup copy protects your track until it is saved.
FOLLOW A GPX ROUTE
Import a GPX file, let it guide you, and get a warning if you drift off the trail. Your route library has its own tab: search, tags and sorting.
OFFLINE MAPS
Maps download on their own around your routes: IGN maps and aerial photos in France, OpenStreetMap elsewhere. No signal in the mountains? Your map is already there.
YOUR SUMMIT LOG
Hikez recognises the summits you reach, from a built-in database that works offline. Photos, notes, sounds, the day's weather and how it felt: every hike, told.
THE HIKEZ COMMUNITY (OPTIONAL)
Create your account with Apple, no email needed. Post your hikes to your feed, follow other hikers, like and comment. Share your routes on the community map, anonymously, and discover other people's trails with their ratings and photos. A monthly leaderboard counts hikes recorded live. Private account available; every post can be reported and anyone blocked.
HEALTH AND STATS
Every hike becomes a workout in the Health app. Total elevation gain, distance, summits, time outdoors: your progress, season after season.
YOUR DATA, YOUR CONTROL
Your journal stays on your iPhone and in your private iCloud, with free backup for everyone. No ads, no data resale. Without an account, nothing leaves your phone.
In English, French, Spanish and German.
