Growing little niche dating app
Make way neurotypicals, this one’s for the divergents, and boy do I have high hopes for this one. So far it’s a little sparse in Australia, but it’s growing, with much better prompts and profile features to work with that are descriptive in the right ways.
Support is slow despite the subscription price.
I was unable to access my account for almost a week because it was stuck in verification, even though I was paying for the app. I contacted them on Instagram, and they told me that nothing unusual had happened with my verification. Yesterday, my account was finally working normally again, so I thought the problem had been resolved.
But today, the exact same verification screen appeared again, and I’m locked out of my account once more. How can they say nothing unusual happened when the problem keeps coming back?
Support is extremely slow, the explanations are unclear, and I’m paying for a service I cannot properly use. I also posted a message asking whether other users were experiencing the same issue, and it was deleted.
This is honestly unbelievable. I want the issue permanently fixed, and I believe I should receive a refund or an extension of my subscription for the time I couldn’t use the app.

I'm enjoying myself, talking to who i think is an actual person. The premium addons are super expensive though so I think i'll stick to the basics for now

I enjoy the community Hiki has created for people who are like me, and I’m happy this app exists. But I really can’t stand the pay walls I have to jump over to talk to anyone!
There is a total of 9 guys who clearly want to talk to me. Although I can’t see them because their profile pictures are covered with a blurry filter. 4 of them have even went as far as to message me and try to talk. I can’t talk to any of them though, because I have to pay $19.95 in total to have a conversation for a full week. I don’t have that on me!
It’s creating a barrier that I am not enjoying having to ignore. It’s not that I don’t wanna talk to anyone else on the app. I just would like to give these guys a chance to get to know me. Although, they can’t do that if we can’t have a text conversation.
I hope this can get addressed and there can be a change in the works so I can fully enjoy my experience.

i really enjoy the app, just wish there were more people, asexual & schizo-spectrum areas on the “interests” bar, a way to filter out other’s based on sexuality (makes it easier to find other asexual people) & wish it had less of an emphasis on buying premium to see who liked you. overall really enjoy it & am soo happy i downloaded it :)

It’s okay if you pay
If you don’t pay, none of your likes will appear on your feed for matches. They kind of force you to pay for premium. Maybe give a trial period or something. Other than that you can chat with others in Circles or by posting on the wall. Hope that you’re not shy.

The price to practically use the app is borderline predatory for 200 a year. or 20 a week. And this for a community with enough struggles even to maintain a job… ffs

In-App Purchases
I find this really frustrating when as somebody has a disability and feel like I am getting exploited for money on this app and I feel like it should be for free because with some of us we have other costs of living and things will help us through day-to-day Situations and with In-App Purchases they are actually quite expensive and I feel like it shouldn’t be so expensive and maybe even consider how much these are or making this app free for people with autism and other disabilities and make this a happy place for many people and look at these prices and what is going through this apps Head

Admins need to be better
I was unfairly banned, I’ve already sent an appeal. They didn’t tell me why, even though I have an idea. (I guess calling someone out on their BS.) it started out a good time met some people and absolutely adore them, but the admins are stupid. Taking my freedom of speech away. Not ethical!
Mods don't do anything about harassment and bullying
They allow harassment and stalking within the app, from groups who coordinate attacks against others, mocking them and scrutinizing their posts.
