Fake sense of control

The app is designed to suggest that you have complete variable speed control ranging from 1 - 100 in increments of 1%. Totally not the case. The incremental changes do nothing and in reality there’s only about 4 or 5 speeds. I.e there is no difference in the speed whether it’s set to 1% or 20%. It’s super disappointing and I have no idea why they would intentionally lead you on. Also the different modes have a mind of their own. The speed just sort of sets itself. It’s fine as a basic remote but the fake out sense of control is just aggravating.

Disappointing for a smart fan

The person I emailed at Hinkley claimed it would work with Apple Home, but that was wrong. The Hinkley app has minimal features and won’t integrate with other devices. Disappointed.
