Even worse with the update
App was always a little non functional. Now with the update, it constantly crashes. It can’t log me in for some reason. It never remembers where I was last listening. Pretty good content, very poor delivery. And to charge this much for the service is bad. Won’t be renewing my membership with this new price.

I wish Hippo Ed spent less effort on creating and maintaining their poorly functioning platform and instead used an already existing far superior service. The content is great, but using the app is an exercise in frustration Every. Single. Time.
Great content, app glitchy
Great content, would recommend. App on iOS is very glitchy. Can go into episodes and freezes anytime you do anything other than start an episode.
Great content. Terrible app
App is essentially unusable. Frequently won’t load videos (even on wifi). Crashes. Often won’t even load homepage.

I love the tooocs and format. The car play for rewinding is not ideal

Overall, I would say that the content is excellent and provides great updates that our timely and in reasonable bite-sized quantities.
The player could use a lot of work. The app does not handle downloading episodes for off-line play well, and trying to rewind the episode 30 seconds to re-listen to a bit that you missed is often painful to accomplish. The app does not take commands from headphones paired with the phone well. The app frequently loses your spot in an episode and will restart from the beginning. There is no associated CarPlay interface to listen while driving.

Perfect way to stay up to date!
The lectures are short, constantly updated, and engaging! They provide the brief summary notes and it’s easy to get your CME credits!
Love the content, but not the app
I love listening to the content when the app works but all too often it doesn’t work. It will pause, sometimes the video is playing but there is no sound. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app and have contacted costumer service. I was told it was my connection but it happens all of the time. It is frustrating as I paid a lot of money for the content and cannot listen to it as much as I would like.

Doesn’t work
I can log in and use my PANRE-LA subscription on any browser but the app says I have no active subscriptions. Worthless.
App won’t open with new update
I just get the loading circle indefinitely and can’t use the app since the most recent update
Love sol’s humor!
Sol was a supervisor attending when I was in residency at UCD 20 years ago. He was funny then, and still funny now. His humor is c/w the “bad dad genre”, AND I LOVE IT!
Constant review nags
I paid for a subscription and do not want to be nagged constantly to review your app. Hence 2 stars.

5-star content. App improving but with limitations. Would like CarPlay integration.
I appreciate the frequent updates and significant improvements made to this app over the past few years. As a PC RAP subscriber since 2017 (and EM RAP listener before that), the app really has come a long way since I started using it.
However, it still has some frustrating features — frequently having to re-sign in from the app erroneously thinking that my subscription had expired, episodes re-starting in the wrong place after being paused, and issues with played episodes not being marked as complete — to name a few. The search feature is also not as useful as I’d like; I often failed when trying to use it to review content I’d remembered hearing for clinical decision aids at the point of care.
My biggest frustration (and the reason I just let my subscription lapse) is that, ironically, it’s become less convenient for me to actually listen to the episodes as the app has improved. I really only listen while commuting to and from work, and it was much easier for me to do this when we could subscribe to individual account feeds and listen through Apple Podcasts. Integrating CarPlay support to allow for a dedicated CarPlay app would solve this problem for me, so I hope that is considered by the developers.
Overall, this is a promising app with an improving user interface that still lacks functionality.

Amazing content, terrible app
I know they’re making it better, but the app crashes constantly. It logs me out randomly. It loses my place, or forgets where I’m at in an episode when I log back in. I love the content though, and that’s the only reason I keep paying for it. But could we consider putting this on Spotify or an app that actually works?

Glitchy app
Good Content, but the app is very unreliable. Frequently logs user out, restart episodes over after they have been listened to and does not acknowledge episodes that have already been viewed.
Great app and podcast
But can we please stop making updates mandatory, or make updates only mandatory once a month maybe? Every time I log in I have to waste time updating the app and it’s so frustrating. Y’all are my primary source of CME because I need to save time.
Not recommended
It doesn’t update videos already watched. It shows up next videos that have already been viewed. And the icons for the status of previous viewed videos when it does update are very confusing. I would recommend trying another service.

Content is fantastic, this app - is a headache. Content fails to load, very buggy.
