Preliminary review
I’m yet to get into using it in depth. Darren Brown mentioned the app in his Bootcamp for memory podcast so I thought I’d give it a go just out of curiosity. There is only 1 other review at this point in time and the person who left it doesn’t seem to understand the aim of the app and why the developers have structured it in the way they have. I can of course use the camera in my devices to record videos but I forget most of what I record. I’m interested to see if using this app is useful in any way and if it is, what I might learn about myself and how I remember things. This will of course take some time to figure out so until I am prepared to give it that time my review isn’t worth much and in fact I’m only rating the app and reviewing it to balance the one negative review.

Liking so far
I’m testing it to recommend to my mom. The interface is friendly and easy. I’d like to suggest the add of other languages besides English.
This is really stupid
I don’t get it. I can record videos with my phone as is, talk while recording and the video will be mapped to my location automatically etc.
Soon AI will be able to transcribe and add descriptions to my videos too, again, automatically.
HippoCamera is doing the same, just a bit less friendlier, and this is supposed to somehow improve my memory retention 😂? Just because it plays it 3 times ? I can watch the videos I’ve recorded with my phone, 3 times too. What’s the point?

I’ve got unnable to login
i was able to join in january, recorded some memories in that month. However, I bought a new phone and since then I’ve never been able to login again. I’ve sent an email but they didnt answer. Even tough, the app was very nice

Thank you for your review. As of version 2.0, you no longer require a code to use the app -- you can now create an account and login to use the app. We hope you get a chance to use it.
